Awesome! Food was delicious! Enjoyed the Cranberry Mojito. Prices reasonable. Will go back again and again!
Overall it was a very fun evening with friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the BINGO game and really enjoyed this part of the experience. The food was generally good and pricing was fair. The Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken left a lot to be desired. Everyone else said their food was good. It was smaller than every other salad delivered to our table and the chicken was overcooked. Our server was attentive and prompt.
Julia was the waitstaff and was fantastic
Met friends from out of town for dinner. As is true everywhere, they seemed to be short of help. Our server was pleasant and courteous, but she canât be everywhere at once. She was great, but seemed to need help. The food was good. The beer was great!
Smoke house burger was delicious with well seasoned french fries. I stopped in around 7pm and had excellent service from my waitress. It was nice to have her check up on me even though she had multiple tables to handle. Then, things went south. A kids baseball team and their parents came in and overloaded the staff. By this point I was finished with my meal, just waiting for my waitress to come to my table so I could request the check. She was MIA for 5 minutes before I saw her dealing with multiple tables of people. It was impossible to wave her down. I waited for 10 more minutes before proceeding to stand by their bar pickup area to physically be in front of their area to grab her attention.Good food, service is good until they get busy so I understand they are most likely understaffed like most places. I'd visit again.
The food was good but the service was really lacking. Waited for a server to come to the table. Asked what the soup was - no idea, will find out. Ok, thatâs fine. Ordered our drinks. Waiting, waiting. Got the drinks with next to no ice. Asked for some ice. Waiting, waiting. The server finally returned to the table with ice. Our drinks were in plastic cups so melted quickly. Everyone else seemed to have regular glasses. Ordered food. Waiting, waiting. Got our food from a food runner. The server never asked if we wanted another drink or needed anything. Had to watch for her to flag her down for the check. Basically, someone threw food in front of us and then we were ignored. Not interested in returning to this location.
Delicious food and family friendly ambiance. Great outdoor area for dining.
The server was great! Unfortunately he was so overworked! They were very short staffed. The City Works in Schaumburg is much cleaner. Wasnât happy about that; but they were very short of workers so that may be the reason.
This was our first visit to City Works. We were in the mood for a new place to add to our regular dining rotation. It is about 40 minutes from our neighborhood - it is worth the drive. The menu for the palate of everyone in our group. Although we didnât not order then, I was happy to see the GF options as well as The plant based choices. We had the Southwestern Bbq Chicken Salad, the Steak Salad, Rib dinner and Cajun Chicken dinner. We were all satisfied with our choices. Maddie was our server. She was pleasant, attentive and efficient- kept us up to date on the timing of our meal. City Works has been added to our dining rotation.
