This seems to be a comfy and family restaurant. A lot of the people who come here are locals and it's nice to see the relationships they have built with the staff. Although the atmosphere is nice, the food itself is not the tastiest. The quantity is definitely generous, but the food does not taste the greatest, very meh. The booths are also not in the greatest condition, some are barely standing and are very uncomfortable. Lastly, the restaurant unfortunately seems to have a mold problem, and it was the first thing I smelled when I walked in. I noticed the ceiling is covered with water spots and mold spots. Overall, I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're looking for a good breakfast spot.
Props to the chefs for some great breakfast food. Had the corned beef and hash skillet and the Mexican skillet which were both great! Some background music to drown out the bickering from the waitress would have made breakfast a lot more enjoyable. It appeared the chefs and busboy were doing a nice job. We will come back and hopefully enjoy our experience more.
Another family restaurant that has constantly kept up with these difficult times even with Covid . Their efforts keeping their food, and service as best they can to make your visit a good one.
Worst restaurant I been to, the employees including the owner are the worst, I have a nephew who has autism, odd and adhd, the took us out of the restaurant because they said he was being to loud, and that we were bugging his costumers, I told them that why were they saying that about us, I only heard him say well am the owner and I can do whatever I want so leave won't never go back there.

Good breakfast options and service was great. Overall Staff is welcoming. We stopped in after a court appointment and we were pleasantly surprised. Thank you!
Good service they're overwhelmed so a little bit slow but very kind and very generous very good server who also was probably the hostess. Great food and abundance at a very good price.
Nothing inspiring, just a hole in the wall short order diner. I ordered biscuits and gravy with 2 scrambled eggs, gravy arrived lukewarm from a can, with no sausage chunks cut in. My "eggs" were not "fresh," I've worked in food before. They were the frozen pre-prepared variety. That said, I'll probably be returning at some point in the future as this is the closest breakfast place to Cantigny.
Food was only okay. Server was nice and attentive.
Sunday lunchtime, very busy. No wait to be seated. Busy employees. Very good food.
