I'm pretty selective when it comes to fried rice and egg rolls and I love both here! Very friendly as well.
I have been coming to this place for 20 years. I have set the bar for Chinese food by this restaurant. I have moved all over IL and I still drive back here for the pork fried rice.
I regularly come by getting some food in this spot. I liked the speedy service and well made food. Highly recommended.
I got takeout tonight, spicy chicken lomein and fried dumplings. Food was fresh and excellent and the people who run it were super nice. Ive eaten my fair share of chinese takeout and this was solid. Give them a try!

When we first found this place, both my husband and I were ecstatic since it's locally owned place that makes their own deliveries. I've ordered from this place twice (once for delivery and once for pick up). My experience and the food was amazing the first time. The second time, the experience was still amazing but I found a piece of shaved metal in my curry chicken. It was GROSS. I threw all the food out that I still hadn't eaten. I also through out my soup in the fear that other foods might have shaved metal that I may fail to catch and eat it. Killed my apatite. Sad that I can't order from here again. :(
This restaurant has been here a long time with new owners in the last few years. The transition wasn't good and many critiqued the food as being just OK, which was true up until recently. The newest owners are adding more spices to their food and while the prices went up a little, still represent a very good value for what is now good food. You'll only want to do carryout as there is absolutely no atmosphere. The food is ready fast so be clear about when you will be picking it up or it will be ready sooner than you'd like. They also deliver but I've never used that service. If you were disappointed in the past, give them another try.
