I absolutely love Panera, BUT this location is an absolute mess. I have been here about 10 times since they opened and not ONCE have they actually gotten my order right. They also take forever to make the food, so if you order online and it says it’s ready, wait at least 15 minutes more before even going in or you’ll be standing there forever. They don’t greet you and ask if you need any help and there is always multiple people in back just wandering around and talking. This location needs A LOT of help!!
Fine location but they have real issues with order management. Last few times I've waited over 40 minutes for ONE sandwich. I watched their order board and they CHANGE the list order. I constantly get my food well after people who came in after me.
Worse panera terrible customer service. I pay monthly for panera upgrade I literally waited at the order drive through box for 15 min being told wait when all I wanted was a black coffee then waited in the line for another 15 min to get it also the inside was closed the whole day. Not to mention the week before the guy at the window didn't put the lid on my coffee all the way and spilled all over my suit making me late to work and tossing a white dress shirt out.
I decided to get lunch through the drive up because I was stinky from coming from my shift at an animal shelter. When I drove up to the menu board, there was another customer there placing a long order. At the time, there was only me and this other customer in line. I waited 15-20 minutes before I could place my order. By then, the line grew. I finally placed my order and drove to the pickup window. Again, I waited another 10 minutes to get my food because the customer before me was waiting for her large order. By the time I arrived home, it was 45 minutes to get lunch. This isn’t a fast food restaurant. Different processes should be considered for large orders to keep the line moving. I don’t know if I’ll be going back.
Nice enough location with kind employees but there are a couple of glaring issues. The outdoor seating area has no convenient trash recepticle (even the indoor one is in the back) which leads to trash being left outside. The self serve checkout is so close to the front door that you get a pile up of people. The outdoor tables have rubber feet that unthread easily. I found two near the curb and put them back on but for a location that has been open for such a short period of time, it's a bad sign. These issues are easily solved and my rating will be five stars if they are. For all of the eco-concious boasting, I hope these are priority.
Went twice to get my salad, specifically mentioned NO MEAT. Once they put bacon in it. When I asked them to replace they said ok, staff was kind of polite but food I got again with bacon in it and avaco comes with skin in the salad.
I ordered the white steak sandwich it came with one piece of dried up beef and none of the ingredients listed. It was through the drive-through after waiting 30 minutes is that worth $14 what is happened to Panera? The other four times I visited the Panera in Wheaton they were out of what I ordered by the time I got to order. All times I’ve waited about 30 minutes in the drive-through because you can’t get out once you’re in the line. Run don’t walk away from this location.
I love Panera Bread - never had a problem with them. First time I ordered from this location. I ordered my favorite sandwich - the You Pick Two Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and soup. The sandwich was nothing like I’ve ever had before - just chicken, a skinny slice of avocado, melted cheese on the side of the bun none inside and absolutely no sauce on it. The chicken and rice soup was great and the regular order of broccoli cheese soup. How could you ruin the sandwich????
The dining room is huge and airy. The touchscreen ordering system is fast and easy to use. Love the bagels, salads and sandwiches.
Made a quick stop through the drive thru around 5 pm. When I got home about 20 minutes later excited to dig into my broccoli cheddar soup imagine my disappointment when I smelled some sort of street corn chowder. I spent the next 3 hour trying to call this location to speak to someone to resolve the issue with no luck. Apparently Panera no longer cares about customer service. Guess I'll have to make a trip to this location tomorrow to get refund. I have no interest in giving them anymore of my hard earned money.
