Super cute shoppe! Easy online ordering and incredibly fast curbside pick up. We ordered 5 single scoops in cups and paid $30 with a tip. Definitely special occasion only for us based on price for amount, but still 5-star for service and flavor!
Boy is this place expensive. I've bought higher quality goods from smaller businesses, and for MUCH cheaper. It's a popular place, and I can see why, there is a clean atmosphere and fancy radiance to the place, but you must have a high salary if you go here regularly. Will not go here again, most likely, but it seems like a nice place to visit for a date or for a fancy gift.
BEST ice cream spot in all of Illinois! Parent Trap is the way to go! I drive in from the city for this stuff- it’s SOO good!
I love them and love their ice cream but not having a bathroom that my kids can use while we eat ice cream there is a big ? .. i just don't have the energy to have to walk my kids down the block and back just to pee. So if we take ice cream to a park I'd pick up here buy if we dine in then I'd probably choose Kilwins just based on this unfortunately.I just want to add in response to the owner:*This location has been one ice cream shop or another for DECADES and this is the first time one has not allowed bathroom access.*Perhaps they have reasons why the current situation doesn't work but ask yourself... do you want to bring yourself, your young kids, their grandparents to an ice cream shop, sit down, then have to leave and come back for the bathroom. Really that's up to us to decide if it works. For me it does not. It seems it would be worth the simple addition of a more permanent wall between the front and back to divide the bathroom to create a more welcoming environment for customers.
Great ice cream...my daughter loved the pink sparkle cone and my son said this was the best ice cream he has ever had.
Kimmers makes homemade ice creams that are dense and creamy. This describes their ice cream well. Denser than other ice creams, kinda like frozen custard but taste is more subtle.The "Parent Trap," Oreo and peanut butter ice cream, I am blown away! I'm a parent and I guess I am trapped!This place is going to be my summer hang out spot for sure!
Love, love, love this place! They did a special order cake for me for a gender reveal and they knocked it out of the park! They were so accommodating, added some fun decorating and as always the ice cream is amazing! Happy they are part of our downtown!!!
If you want ice cream that’s quality with cone variety, stop what your doing & come here. ? Ice cream cakes are easy to grab for birthdays, staff has been great. Flavors rotate but a fun place to bring the kiddos, or stop for date dessert or even a sweet solo treat. ?
I loveeee the cookie ice cream sandwiches and my boyfriend says they have the BEST butter pecan ice cream ?
Too expensive for the small portion you get. Better off going to Dini's Ice Cream in Carol Stream.
