The food was delicious and well prepared. Nice presentation and ample portions. The fish tacos were very good, the taco [flour or corn] had a good ratio of fish to taco and the tilapia was firm and flakey. Worth a visit.
Stopped in for a snack and a brew with our son and daughter in law. We've eaten here before. Good food and drink specials. Nice atmosphere.Open cantina concept which is one of our favorite styles. Bartenders and servers are always friendly, polite and efficient. Can't ask for more from a business.
First time dining here. It was a beautiful afternoon, around lunchtime. We opted to sit inside, as the covered tent patio was quite busy, and noisy. There was a large group of ladies sitting close by indoors, and they were quite loud. It would be noisy indoors too, had there been more occupied tables (most chose to dine outdoors due to lovely weather). Their menu is online. I chose the coconut shrimp tacos and a side salad with their chipotle ranch dressing. The reason for the 4 star rating is they use CANNED pineapple in their tacos. I would have thought they would have carried the freshness over to their fruit too. You get 2 tacos, which are pretty big, and one side. Some sides have an up charge (elotes )but we were informed of that when ordering, which was nice. Brianna was pleasant, and offered great service, even though she was quite busy.
With this part of Hale Street closed to allow eating outside under the tent, it really makes for a pleasant atmosphere. The service was attentive; the food was spot on. The menu has more traditional Mexican takes on food as well as twists - the Chicken BLT tacos were very, very good. The surprise was the jalapeno balsamic vinaigrette. Definitely worth the trip downtown.
Tried this place when it first opened and was not good at all. I figured ok, it was new and tried again last week. We each ordered burritos. I ordered steak and my wife ordered chicken. The steak I could not even chew. Literally like rubber and my wife said the chicken tastes like it came out of a can. The margaritas were horrible for the price, $12 and you get it in a glass like a small orange juice. We didn’t even get drinks til after food came. Server was good, but needless to say we went out to another restaurant after because we were so hungry after not being able to eat food, $75 down the drain
We expected that we were going to a Mexican restaurant. They are a restaurant that has a few Mexican dishes. The food was very ordinary. We ordered their top of the line margarita. It was not cheap, but it was very small and not worth the money. There are so many better places for me to spend my money that I won't be back. I will say that our server was very nice.
I saw the reviews that this place is fantastic and I cannot agree. The chicken flat bread tasted like chunks of chicken on thick bread with lettuce and 1000 island dressing. The fish tacos were so so. The atmosphere was loud and if you are a party of 2 you will be sitting at a table of either 4 or 6 because they don't have tables for 2. The staff was attentive the hostess was accommodating but I believe you can find better Mexican restaurants out there
Great place! Food was delicious!!! All staff is extremely attentive with every detail, our waiter was phenomenal. Would definitely go back
This rating is a reflection of their mask policy and the fact no one in the restaurant was masked last night. I didn't realize it until our server brought us water. In hindsight we should have left, but as hospitalizations are on the rise with a new variant, I find this highly irresponsible.
Awesome atmosphere and local! Hand crafted cocktails better than any regular bar. Affordable date night too ☺️
