I've lived in Wheaton for 5 years and just went here for the first time yesterday. Oh man, I wish I knew about this place before! Delicious food, great service, cute and cozy interior. I'm definitely going back, and back, and back!
The host and servers were attentive and helpful. Food was great and the margaritas were outstanding. The chicken and spinach enchiladas were tender and flavorful and I loved the jalapeno cream sauce. Others had the carnitas and they were crisp and juicy. They consistently do a great job.
Party of 9. Made it real easy on person and had just one check. Not one refill, no extra napkins, rude service AND they put an automatic 22% tip on the bill. Will never ever go there again. Food was fine, service sucked!
Amazing food and great service! Also, they do a great job of bringing the food out quickly, but all being fresh and right!
I would give this place no stars if I could. A man working there was extremely rude and wouldn’t let my friend and I use the bathroom. He LITERALLY said to us, “you have to buy something if you wanna use the pisser”. Excuse me? Is business that bad to where I have to buy a taco in order to use the bathroom because I’m human and humans need to pee? And “pisser”??? If you’re working you should definitely talk more professional. Never ate here and honestly never will after this experience. After reading MANYYYYYYY other reviews, this guy is just known for being a mean person. I feel bad for the workers and any other person that has to come into contact with this man.
Not a pleasant dinner out with my husband after a long day. A staff person lowered the volume of the holiday music and turned up the TV volume, so he could listen to Fox News critize Lynn Cheney and the Congressional comnittee investigating the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6. We packed the meal and enjoyed it at home.
Had a really bad experience yesterday night 10-30-21 with my wife yesterday night. Ordered a $17.00 dollar steak dinner it tasted old. Returned it for a chicken burrito 3 bites later I find a chicken bone in my food. I tell the owner and he says I will take something off bill. Bill comes he takes off 1 dollar off our bill. Once again I talk to the owner. He says his policy is if you eat more than half you pay for it. I only had 3 bites. Not even a quarter eaten. I show him what was eaten and he takes it off bill. Owner was very rude, aggressive speaking to us. He really didn’t care what his cooks were putting out to his guest.
Visited this location and I had 6 tacos. What surprised me was that the tacos were big.Had me filled up pretty good for about $20. It is kinda pricy but the food is alright. if you aren’t trying to go far for some Mexican food, this is the place.
The owner who was working the tables when we came in the restaurant snickered when me and my coworkers asked him if there were lunch specials as we got seated, he said no and said "we only serve what's on the menu". He didn't smile and walked away. He finally came back and brought chips and two different kids of salsas, one of them was so good that we finished the chips and that one first. Flagged him down and asked if we could have more chips he said " it's going to be extra " meaning EXTRA CHARGE FOR A VERY SMALL PORTION OF CHIPS. I asked what's in the very good salsa and he said HE DOESN'T MAKE THE SALSA. I felt bad about being there at that point and figured if the food was good then it would be worth staying. The steak was terrible in the tacos and burrito. Cubed chunks of wierd meat. When he finally came to get my credit card at the end he initiated a conversation about politics condemning the current administration and blaming biden for the supposed fact that he can't get better ingredients. BAD SERVICE AND EVEN WORSE FOOD !!! VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE THERE... definitely won't ever be back and don't recommend
My family went here tonight and when we tried to put our name in with a nice female server but then the owner abruptly said no. We were taken aback and left the restaurant. As soon as I stepped out I was so bothered by his behavior and decided to approach him. When I went in I told him that there was no reason for him to be so rude to us. He simply could have told us that there would be a wait time but it was not okay to be so rude. He proceeded to tell me that he “does not have time to be polite.” He was getting increasingly agitated stating that there are 7 million jobs and he has to work 3 jobs now and that I would never know or could understand because I don’t work in the industry. I tried to respond to him and let him know that I did understand but he continued to interrupt me saying no I don’t know. I knew he wasn’t going to understand that he never needed to be rude. Sadly, what he didn’t know is that I do understand exactly what he is going through because I have very close family that work in the restaurant industry as chefs and work 15 hour days that not only cook but bus tables and even wash dishes due to the current situation. I know these are hard times but there is never a reason that makes it okay to be rude. We came there to support your business but in return we were degraded and violated. You, Sir have no business being in the this business.
