So over the last few years I felt Chipotle had declined in food quality and taste. Hence we barely ever went there, but today my faith was restored. Everything was fresh and the taste was back.
This location is sub-par compared to other Chipotles in the area. I used to visit the Downers Grove location every few weeks but since moving I tried to go here and the portions were significantly less. I rarely visit this location due to reduced portions and not getting enough value for what I'd expect from a Chipotle.
I love chipotle usually but this case was pretty bad. Ordered a burrito bowl with guac and steak, guy writes letter on it. I notice large family ahead of me has same letter on their burrito bowls so I keep a close eye on my burrito bowl. I see it get mixed up and say that's my order, get told that I'm wrong because one is colder. I say okay... get home and check it. It's completely wrong order, no guac. Also what's going on with the steak? Did someone spill salt all over it? I hate to leave a bad review but come on ):
very very good food, very very smooth and convenient online ordering setup, this was my very very first time 'experiencing' Chipotle and when I got there they were putting my food together and I got to witness it up close, and I had a very very awesome back and forth with the staff about how much to put in each item (the tacos I ordered were like on steroids lol), I am very very full right now, overall very very great eating excursion
This restaurant is my favorite place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a good meal, this restaurant comes straight to my head. extremely good and many types of food and a large menu.helpful team, and nice vibes. Also important, the cost is reasonable. I praise this place with no doubt.
I don't make a big deal about masks provided there's a good-faith effort to wear them properly. That's not what I saw here. Several members of the counter staff had their noses exposed and one even pulled it down around his chin. When I saw that, I left. This was during their lunch rush when there were a lot of customers. If they can't take simple food safety seriously, then I don't want to eat there.
The customer service at this location is God awful. I always end up regretting my decision when walking out with my order. I’d go to a different location but it’s the most convenient for me when driving home from work. I don’t know what it’s like during the day but I wouldn’t recommend this Chipotle between 5-10pm.
I usually don't have issues but this last order just wasn't made correctly.I ordered from the app and ordered a salad. It was basically a bowl with little lettuce and they forgot the dressing. Adding a picture of the non salad salad. Fortunately the burritos in the order was made correctly.
Both of our meals were not very good or fresh with the meats being stringy and dry. They just slapped everything together. Once we unwrapped it they all fell apart in the uncooked wraps. I can see why this location does not have anyone eating there. No one puts care in the process of good food making.Ended up that one or more of the ingredients got everyone sick into the next day. Probably the person didn't wash their hands prior to making the food.
Employees need better training. All starts with the manager who needs to be retrained or fired. Awful customer service
