They were very nice taking my order and it was done within 10 minutes as they told me and everything was delicious, thank you China Star
Ordered today and was told the wait for be 40 minutes, the whole process of ordering over the phone took forever because the register person is so slow. After 40 minutes with no food I call the restaurant and they finally decide to tell me that they don’t deliver to my address. No phone call informing me that my food wasn’t coming. Bad business do not recommend
Good old American-Chinese fare! It's a family-run business (there are almost always kids in there doing their homework) and it's obvious that they work hard! Good people and good food, I love this place!
Really good food, had the sesame chicken lunch special and it was delicious. Came with egg roll, and I asked for fried rice. Huge portion for only $6.50. I was charged an extra .50 cents for using a CC under $10. I didn't mind that.
Great food for a great price! Super nice family owns & runs the restaurant. Chicken fried rice & chicken on a stick are my favorite. Show them some love & give 'em a try!
Guy on the phone rushes you. But I believe that's a culture thing. Food is great prices are great. And delivery people are always very friendly. And very large portions even for large size standards.
We didn’t care for the food.We ordered Sesame Chicken (large blob of breading around very small pieces of chicken); steamed dumplings (thick dough containing an orange sausage-like meat); and pork fried rice (bland and the pork tasted sweet). The restaurant itself was cluttered with used items for sale, dead plants on the window, and a dirty lobby.Would not recommend.
I have had problems with communication on the phone when ordering also...but what all this boils down to is a review of the BBQ Pork Fried Rice. I judge a Chinese restaurant by their fried rice and egg rolls because if those 2 basic staples are not good, the restaurant is a failure in my mind. But this place is one of only 2 places I get fried rice from in the Western Suburbs. I live in Lisle, so it says something that I drive over 7 miles each way for Fried rice but that is what I do when I find a place I like. Now, I would like it if the phone manners and skills were sharpened. I realize this is a family business and children are sometimes handling adult jobs but this appears to be something more than a few people have noticed.
This place was a complete disappointment this is the shrimp fried rice I literally had to dig and look for the shrimp the other dishes was terrible also
I want to give them a better rating BUT when we called an placed our order we informed them of a mushroom allergy, they told us that none of the dishes we ordered had mushrooms in them so we were happy. When we got home we ate and we’re happy until about 10 minutes later when I started to feel hot, and itchy, when I moved the fried rice to another dish we noticed that there were mushrooms in the bottom. I don’t think it was done on purpose, but rather in a rush when cooking one dish to another, I wish they at least rinsed out the pan but it’s obvious by my allergic reaction they did not.
