Not what I remember from years ago. Italian beef was dry and flavorless. It was $27 for 2 beefs and a large fry, not a good value. Fries were the cheapest frozen type. Place was clean so it got 2 stars.
Incredibly delicious gyros, kind staff, and very fast/efficient service. Just found my new favorite gyro spot.
I ordered a #1 gyro. There were a ton of fries and a massive gyro. Both the fries and the gyro were absolutely great. Plus they have diet mountain dew for soda. Definitely will be coming back.
Prior to COVID, this was one of my favorite spots to stop for a gyro. On my first business trip to the Chicago area, I was happy to see Margie’s still serving customers. It’s no frills, but it hits my important buttons. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is very good.

Don’t waste your time here. I ordered a gyro plate which came out to be around 25 dollars which is absolutely disgraceful for how bad it tasted. The most undercooked gyro meat I’ve seen in my entire life. With the 1 single pita and undercooked gyro meat, you’re better off getting a gyro off the street.
Food tasted average. Definitely not Greek size portions. $23 for a gyro plate, cup of cole slaw and an extra pita which wasn't needed. Based of the picture on the menue I got ripped off.

The staff was very friendly the restaurant was clean and my gyro plate was delicious and actually enough for 2 people . Definitely will be going back
