We loved it! Came here with my brunch group and the service/food were both great! My favorite dishes were Grandma's Fried Rice, the Chung Du Dumplings and the Pickled Beef Noodle Soup. This location is much smaller than their Oak Park sister location but it's cozy and feels like family. Their menu is also more traditional than the Oak Park location which I love.

You know the food is amazing when you eat so fast you forget to take pictures ?. Honestly I wasn't expecting to enjoy a simple Beef noodle soup so much.... but I did!!! Complex flavors, not bland at all, just the right amount of spicy. If I wasn't so stuffed I would've drank the soup base too! I also had the pork and chives potstickers.... yum!!!!! This is your best best for some good noodles/dumplings. My only critique is they need better utensils for takeout. Quality utensils make your eating experience even better, no one wants a bendy spoon and fork

First time trying this place and was NOT disappointed!! Fantastic dumplings both fried and steamed, with generous portions of pork and spices; absolutely delicious!! The homemade noodles for the shrimp chow mein were heavenly!! The flavor was superb!! Served hot and with warm smiles by a wonderfully attentive staff!! We’ll definitely be back to try other items on their menu…..

FYI, this is a small restaurant, maybe seats 24 people? On busy weekends expect a little wait. Don’t come with a big group of friends too.?I think they have the best Taiwanese beef (hand pull) noodle soup in Chicago, almost as good as those in Los Angeles or NYC. The soup must have been simmered for many hours or even couple of day to get that depth of flavor and smoothness. Compared to other nearby restaurants Katy give you more beef and tendons. We also tried the spicy dumplings, not too spicy and not enough meat fillings. I’m looking forward to try other noodle dishes next time.

We been here 10 years ago and it use to be our favorite noodle shop in Chicago. But now they don't make any small dishes anymore and the flavor of the soup is very different. We miss the old flavors.

Excellent dishes!Delicious spicy dishes from meaty noodle soups to sour pork belly soups. Juicy fresh dumplings and more. (Not all dishes are spicy). This restaurant is located in a strip mall, which is not fancy. But, the gem is Katy's Dumplings! Well worth the trip to Westmont. Interior is simply dressed with cute wall art. Also, clean.Service was very good. There was a line of patrons awaiting to be seated. Servers took our names down and asked patrons to wait outside so it was not overcrowded inside. After being seated, they took our orders- each dish was served piping hot and flavorful. Servers speak English very well, making it easy to ask questions and to order.

I've been here a couple times and the food is always great. The pork and chive dumplings are amazing, as is the broths in their soups. It's a pretty small place so I wouldn't plan on eating there unless you go at an off time.

Ate inside recently and although it is a small place I felt very comfortable. The service is warm, friendly and quick. I really loved the beef and scallion pot stickers and i also had the beef noodle soup. I asked for the soup to be just a little spicy and they delviered. It was very good and just the right amount of spice. I will be back.

Located 30 mins outside the city, this restaurant offers one of the best bowls of beef noodle soup. The broth has a deep beefy flavor and the noodles are the perfect texture. The soup dumplings are made fresh, but I thought they were just solid. There’s lots of parking, but there is limited seating at the establishment. It’s worth the drive to eat delicious beef noodle soup.

Delicious dumplings at light-speed!! Super fast. Impeccable service! The worker even overheard me saying I was cold with the vent above me and offered to turn the AC down. Will definitely be returning.
