Food was rather decent, can't really complain about the Mongolian Chicken, the Mongolian Combination, or the Crab Rangoon. But within a minute of walking in, the dank, musty, outdated decor had us regretting our decision to eat there. A "No Smoking" sign did little to eliminate the cigarette aroma of decades past. A trip to the restroom had me contemplating running out the back door before our main dish arrived - but leaving my spouse alone in the booth would not have been to my long-term benefit. I don't think Robert Irvine would tackle this place - it's just not a pleasant place to sit and have a meal and needs to be entirely gutted. I hate to think of what lurks in the kitchen. Food was OK....I think....but carryout would be the only way I'd go back. Too bad, the place was thought to be pretty nice back in the 1980's.
Chinese food! This is the best in the area. Any plate you ask for is nice and tasty. The do the best egg rolls ever. The house tea is nice and the service good
It’s just the best. Especially amazing are the egg rolls and fried rice. Large shrimp in everything that has shrimp, not the lame little ones other places use. Do your self a favor and order the homemade sweet and sour.
Ordered carryout and the orange chicken was the worst I ever had. The egg rolls were under cooked and the chow mein was decent. I asked for no MSG but it was definitely in all the dishes. This used to be a great restaurant many years ago but now it's terrible! I will never order from them again.
Good, affordable Chinese food. Love their egg rolls, such a great, creamy, cohesive texture.
Been in person on a friend date and was such a great spot inside the restaurant! I also ordered online and both were great experiences. Gonna be our new spot ! Rangoons stayed super crispy, and everything was delicious fresh and delivered~ definitely recommend if you’re around the area!
Grubhub messed up and canceled our order for some reason, right as the restaurant was near closing. Without us even asking the restaurant, they personally drove the order to us (despite Grubhub refunding the cost), and apologized for the glitch. Nothing but respect for that sort of service!
The Mongolian Beef is a must! I had traveled over 500 miles just to get that dish! Whenever in Chicagoland or passing through it is always on my list!
Ok so for starters funky smell,dim lighting, out dated everythng....where to next asked 4 hot sauce got dijon mustard which was quickly removed and in no way compares to hot sauce in anyway...no flaver on my simple beef and broccoli without the beef no brown rice is served only flaverless white rice. 245 for an extra plate and 2.95 a soda.... Oh and let's not 4get the peanut butter egg roll eeew I definitely in no way asked for!!! ?????? only gave 1 star because I have to.. bathroom was atrocious!! Hands down worst "Chinese food" ever!! Anywhere but here guys!!
Wouldnt sub chicken fried rice for pork fried rice when asked for a lunch combo have to pay double just to have it horrible exprience dont come here.
