Of the four times I have ordered unsweet tea at this location, I've gotten sweet tea two times even though I said unsweet as well to the order taker in at the window

Delicious, fast, and friendly. Love the $5 boxes.

This Taco Bell location specifically constantly messes up my order. They’re no longer receiving my business after today. I attempted to call and complain my about my lousy drive-thru order and no one answered. I called about 8 times. My drink was forgotten, all 6 of my DLT’S contained little to no meat and were loaded with lettuce from top to bottom. It’s like I ordered shells with just lettuce. Very disappointing. I was also given a very stale chalupa. It was very hard to chew and I choked on it too. This is unacceptable. From quality, to incorrect portions, to them forgetting what you pay for. Whoever is training their employees isn’t doing the best job. As a former Taco Bell employee, it’s very disappointing to deal with this. I don’t think I’ve had a perfect order here. It’s close to my house so I choose this location for the convenience, but not anymore. I’m not wasting my time or money here again. I’m tired of being robbed. Not to mention, their employees lie to you and ask you to do a survey for them about their service in which they mention that they’ll give you free taco or Cinnabon pack in return but actually charge you for it.

“It looks like anywhere in America” you might say of this particular mixed-use corner lot of outer Waukegan. The facade of Taco Bell, in the newer muted white-purple-grey colorway looms over the treeless intersection of York House road and the arterial W-34 like a sandstone bluff presiding over a modest river confluence, unless the cube-on-pavement banality goes unnoticed on your way through town. You are fooled though, if you believe no hidden splendor is to be found. The slightly uneven asphalt grading of the parking lot holds small ephemeral pools after a hard rain, and the expansiveness lot of the adjacent commercial group development gives a “big sky” feel, reminiscent of road trips through flat western states. If you linger a while, you’ll find the heartbeat of this place. LED lampposts announce the arrival of twilight, and people arrive in seemingly coordinated waves for the walk-in half of the restaurant which opens and closes for strangely arbitrary hours. Does the restaurant deserve credit for the peace of the parking lot though? Is the wildfire response for the blooming meadow the year after? Even if it’s source is arson? I’m not sure, but maybe I would hold the eatery itself in higher esteem if this location were willing to accommodate the “fresco” menu option even if the official pico ingredient was nixed with the pandemic-adjusted 2020 menu simplification (most locations will still oblige). Regardless, I wish I was still there, bearing witness to the straight-piped Hondas screaming their way through this barren landscape.

This is my second time ordering through Uber Eats and the second time they’ve messed up my order. This place is very unprofessional and disrespectful. I tried to call to get exactly what I paid for and no one answered the phone. Do not waste your time and money at this taco bell, go to one that actually knows how to read orders the workers are illiterate.

I can't think of one good reason of why you can't go inside to order. Doors are locked at 4:58pm?

I used to love this Taco Bell, however they messed up my mexican pizza putting one on top of the other and ruining the toppings, so I called and they said they put my name down to come get the replacement and the manager… who I am 100% certain was the same manager… said my name wasn’t down and she didn’t give me my replacement. Saying there was a guy manager the day they messed my order up…. But I went through and was pretty sure it was the same manager that didn’t give me my replacement. Very upset and won’t be coming back. Awful service and attitude yelling at us to come up to the window. Learn how to treat your customers…. I know how it can be in food service… but shouldn’t managers also try to keep their neighbors 100% happy? Yup made this one very unhappy….

Love the Mexican pizza. Wish they would bring back the taco salad!

I ordered Crunchy Tacos, they were made quickly without mess and were very fresh and delicious! The Staff was friendly and clean. Excellent experience!
