I really don't like to say this , but the sauce makes the food , and in this case there is no flavor to their sauce. It used to be the BEST pizza in Illinois. But sadly no longer. Other people might disagree with me but 40 years ago it was the best
After hearing about it and being new to the area I decided to give it a try. Very disappointed to say the least. Ordered two pizzas and both were extremely salty and soggy. Not even my children who love pizza were able to eat more than 1 slice. For the price of their pizzas you would expect a bit more quality. Would not order again or recommend.
Sat at the bar for ten minutes while 4 or 5 young employees enjoyed each other, their phones, and their own sodas. Finally got waited on while the gaggle of employees continued to enjoy each other's company. Literally no supervision or management in site. Time to move on.
The pizza is great! Most any combination of topings you pick will be delicious. I'd highly recommend the chicken spinach feta as it's super flavorful or the sausage and onion. We also got a pepperoni and jalepeno pizza and it was great. It's also reasonably priced compared to other establishments, a favorite of ours We will be customers for life ?
I do deliveries with grubhub and I get the most orders from here. 99% of the time the employees are kind and respectful. Of course you have your necessary grumpy jerk once in a while. The food always smelled good to me so I finally decided to try it about 2 weeks ago and it was delicious. The cheese on the pizza was amazing, it didn't have too much or too little cheese. The proportions of pepperoni were perfect and the dough was so good too. My boyfriend and I were planning on having a picnic with the pizza but we ate it in the car on the way there ? it was too good.
Been going here all my life and I still love it here. The pizza crust is a little different, but the rest is pretty much the same to me. Bomber sandwiches are still good. Staff is friendly and efficient. Relive your childhood if you grew up going to Quonset and stop by for a pizza and a beer.
Such a cool place, it's worth a visit just for the history and experience. That said, the food and service was fantastic. Our server was super friendly, very attentive and she just made our experience, we had a fun time. The pizza is in the top 3 of all pizza I've ever had. We got the cheese, sausage, mushrooms, peppers and onions and it was delicious. If you are in Chicago, definitely worth going out of the way for Quonset Pizza.
Tasty Classic Midwest tavern style thin crust and one of the best. Cheerful staff and really cool place with a unique interior.
worst service ever called ahead to place lunch order they said 30 min. when I arrived I waited an additional 20 min and my food wasn't even ready let alone cooking. completely wasted my time and lunch break for nothing. Disappointed beyond belief and It was only a small pizza
Best pizza on the planet!! Ate 2 at the table and got 38 to go!! 10 going to Florida, 25 headed to Alaska. The best sausage pizza ever made.
