First time being in since it was Aunt Millies, the food was good and the portions were great, couldn't finish my plate!
The food in here is great,the chilaquiles are my favorite dish even though it has been getting pricier and that's before inflation, the things that I dislike is that the restaurant is really small and is really outdated, they did some painting but nothing major

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Maria’s customer service is unprofessional, the cook didn’t use gloves, food was cooked from days prior and microwaved. The rice had a sour taste, meaning it’s no good. They should shut this restaurant down already.
Unfortunately i can't put zero stars. The staff is rude and food is terrible. No parking and restaurant is beyond small. I ate here over 10 years ago and didn't like it. Went today after so long and remembered why I don't go here. I live 5 minutes away and would rather go to racine to eat. Smh.
Quaint, cozy little diner, with lots of charm to it. Although there’s were plenty to choose from, my husband and I shared a plate of chilaquiles, and french toast. Everything was perfection. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

I've never been to Monica's, but it looks like a great place for breakfast. I love the small one-of-a-kind diners.Too bad the city of Waukegan has become such a dangerous cesspool that I'll never get an opportunity to try it. It's just not worth losing my life for a good breakfast.
This was one of those places that I've past by tons of times with out giving it a thought. Today I did a Google search for brunch and they popped up. Good reviews and the pictures looked good. It was really good! I had the huevos divorciados, amazing. The salsas smothered on top were incredible. My wife had the chiliquiles. She said they were really yummy.
