I have had many issues with this location and against my better judgement gave them another try tonight. I placed a mobile order for a caramel frappe, 3 Mcflurries, and 1 cone. I was never asked if my order was right and they didn't put it on the screen for me to see, at the 1st window they just said you had the mobile and I said yes, so I get to the 2nd window and they hand me everything but the cone and I tell them and the tell me it's not on the order. I don't argue I just ask that they simply let me purchase a cone then and in the middle of the guy @ the window kindly trying to figure out what happened the rude I'm assuming manager says I'll do this and literally steps directly in front of the guy and looks over my order and says "NO! I have too many cars ALREADY!" So, I pull forward and go to the speaker (no wait) and order a cone and there's literally 1 car @ the window! I waited about 45 seconds and I pay for the cone but I show my order details on my phone that clearly has a cone in my original order to the guy that originally was trying to help me and said please tell him he was wrong and that something glitched as I had a cone on my original order. I had a very similar situation happen last time I was there (literally about a year ago they charged me for an order and tried to say I needed to pay again when I got to the window) I cannot believe that he is a manager or at minimum a shift supervisor when to him customers are taking up his time! He could've asked to see my phone, could've asked me to pull forward, but instead he literally told me I could not have what I ordered and refused to help me. That's not having a bad day that's lack of customer service skills, interacting with others, and several other things.I will take the time and go to ANY location other than this one.
McDonald's is McDonald's. What else do you want me to say? Although I did discover that if you order an Oreo McFlurry and then have them add alot of carmel drizzle and whipped cream, you just discovered your new favorite dessert.
Went in today 07/16/22 at the hour of 4pm, in the process of looking at the Menu inside and looking at what to order, a MANAGER, is on register waiting to take my order and while he was waiting on me, his employee (and elderly lady) walks by him and he starts to disrespect her infront of me and my family , he yelled at her and was very rude to her to the point where I had to look at my father thinking he’s gotta be kidding me right? We ended up leaving because his demeanor was disgusting. His behavior was NOT OKAY. I could not believe he humiliated her like that. Horrible experience
Literally the worst McDonald’s in Waukegan. Not only do they make you wait forever but they always mess up your order and are incredibly rude when you let them know despite doing it politely.
I usually have good experiences here, however today was a different story. The person taking my order kept charging me for extra sauce packets when all I wanted was the normal amount that come with a 20pc, even after I explained three times that I did not need extra sauce... Then to top it off the "Manager" told me to go to 2nd window, after telling him that I had a 2nd order he continued to tell me to go to the 2nd window.... at the second window he told me that I had to get back in line because it was too late to take a second order. Too much attitude after that from manager and police was called, great work from our wpd... manager was a light skinned Hispanic - tall male..
Bad service starting with the manager, around 7pm on 5/31 I came to the drive thru and they gave me the wrong order. When I told him that was not what I ordered he took my receipt and gave me money back for just part of my order. When I told him that I was still missing items he told me I was holding back the line and that he had already given me my order. He ignored me and I just left. Never will I return to that McDonald’s.
The male manager there is incredibly rude. Tried to call and fix a problem and he just said too bad can’t do anything for you. Even accused me of trying to rip them off over a meal problem they had. I know it’s just fast food so you can’t expect much but dang he is a jerk. Stay away from this place
Quick and fast. Well organized. Got the spicy chicken deluxe. They were kind enough to add a cup of water at the window.
WORST managed McDonald's in town. Lobby is closed most of the mornings, drive through drags since one lane is always closed, managers are rude when THEY get orders wrong. drive a little longer and avoid the hassle.
It's McDonald's ?♀️Update as of May 19, 2022 since 6 months ago.I wasn't going to say anything bad about this location, but how TF every time I order extra breakfast sauce, someone NEVER put it on my sandwich unless I request it on the side. And today, they didn't even add any sauce to it at all. The nerve of people to screw up an order they're not paying for, then make you look and feel crazy for demanding for what you paid for. It's the principle of the matter to me, not how much it cost, but that cost does add up over time from someone forgetting to give you what you paid for every visit. This is not the time to be playing with people's money, emotions or kids.
