I must say the customer service at Anastasia’s is top notch. They have a older gentleman delivery driver that is the most pleasant delivery driver I have ever encountered. He always asks us how the family is doing? Always makes small talk, just genuinely a nice guy. Their phone skills are amazing, they see that we have ordered there before and always address us by name and not just once they continue to use our name throughout the conversation. They really make you feel special and appreciative of you. If you ask them for a request like adding something to your meal they don’t sound like you are hassling them and are very accommodating.
First time coming here and was actually attending a private event. The atmosphere has the feel of a genuine local bar/restaurant that is truly inviting. A great selection of food items to chose from. Ranging from regular bar food to upscale items like ahi tuna sandwich with sweet habenero sauce. My favorite item was the mozzarella sticks. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attentive. Enjoyed first time visit that made a lasting impression to return. Supporting local bars and restaurants is a must and this place is worth a visit if not more.
Had brunch with my family here recently. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the apple crepes which were very filling with a generous portion. Our waitress was great. We would eat here again!
We stopped in for lunch today. Great food and great drinks! Our waiter Sonny was so awesome! The bar area was super clean. I was very impressed. Awesome service. We can’t wait to come back!
Great food. Great service. Chill vibe with plenty of sports. Seems to draw a very diverse and interesting crowd, in the best way possible. Welcoming to people from out of town. Get the mozzarella sticks with their homemade marinara sauce. So good. And their deep dish pizza.....some of the best I've had.
Anastasia's is definitely a favorite, our local "Cheers!" Love the food - especially the pizza and the juliene salad. I meet friends here a couple times a month and they are always pleasant and accomidating. Prices are reasonable and the drinks are great! There is a bar area with seating and also just a "non bar" seating area, both are great and relaxing.
We were in town for my son's graduation from the US Navy boot camp. This place is the best place in Waukegan to eat. They offer breakfast all day. We wound up eating here 3 of the 4 days we were in town. The pizza is really good. The wraps are amazing and alot of food for a good price. The turkey club was very good also. Get the loaded fries for an appetizer they are covered in cheese and bacon and are so good. The staff is amazing and always greeted us with a smile. Daniela was our waitress the first night and she did an amazing job. She was fast and very friendly. I have never had anything off the menu here that wasn't good. Highly recommend.
Awesome experience! Stopped by Monday around 3pm for a late lunch with my family. The gentleman who attended us was very polite and helpful. We were going to order large pizza but he informed us that they had a half off special that day on small and mediums. We ended up getting 2 medium supreme pizzas and a side order of wings. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the wings were also tasty. Will definitely be returning here!
There is no point to trying this place. They are rude and interrupt when you are trying to order. Alex was her name I think. They overserve. Buffalo Wild Wings and Chili's are walking distance from there if you want consistency and a better experience.
We got into town late and needed dinner on a COLD night. The hotel clerk recommended this place. It was great! The atmosphere was happy (it is a bar too) and the staff were great even though tired. The double decker pizza was delicious and way more than the two of us could eat. I highly recommend this local establishment when in Waukegan!
