I’ve had 3 types of their chicken so far and it’s great! Great service, awesome sides too. Great room with the sliding doors open in the summer, just a cool experience. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood.
Love CM Chicken Vernon Hills! The food is awesome and well cooked/seasoned, and the variety is awesome. The best part is the service though. Make sure to get Jonathan as your server! He’s really helpful and a fun guy. 5 stars!!!
Blown away by the quality of the food. Chicken was delicious and the variety of flavor combinations was overwhelming in a good way. Our server was also incredibly attentive and helped us in our choice of sauces. Highly recommend!
obviously the food tastes great, but what sets this location apart is the atmosphere. The outdoor seating is really cool, overlooking a pond stocked with really cool looking catfish. Johnathan is our favorite server because he’s really nice and we always bond over the fish.
The chicken is really good! And the fries are so crispy and delicious. I ordered the tenders with soy garlic and it had the green onions. It was spicier than I was expecting but very good. The chicken sandwiches were ok, it's chicken thigh which we normally love but it wasn't as good as the tenders or wings. Service was pretty good we just never got our drinks and had to remind them. Not sure if you have a dedicated server or if it's really just the whole team because we had different people come by for everything. Also the food didn't come out at the same time. It was good because that meant no one's food was getting cold while the other food was cooking but also meant some of us were eating while others were still waiting. We also got boba tea which was good. We'll definitely be back!
This restaurant has a lot of aesthetic from entering in. The takeout menu they provide needs to be redone. It was annoying to read and try and pick out what to order. It's also a bit troublesome that they're fashioning up Boba Tea as something rare by putting it further inside like it's a bar, and you have to order these items separately. When you take a seat you can tell how high tech the place is starting with the robotic assistant.I had some chicken nuggets with curly fries and some black milk tea with tapioca balls. Service was about what you can expect for an offhour visit.Something to note about the boba tea is that the serving size is not American sized. The medium size fountain drink at a McDs is a large in this store, and the texture of the tapioca is somewhat more gummy than what you can expect from the Boba Teas in Chinatown.Fried food with a certain sense of quality behind it, but there are other options.
Me and my friend stopped by to try their bubble teas.Melona smoothie and brown sugar milk teas were made amazing as it sounds. Coming back to try chickens later on✌?
If I could review food and service separately I would! Obviously with them being new service was disorganized, so if you plan on dining in expect to have to flag someone down if you want anything. That being said- the chicken and boba are great! We tried the popcorn shrimp with golden curry (it's a dipping sauce), mep snow chicken tenders and the cheese monster wings. The mep chicken was supposed to come out with the snow sauce. We did have to ask about the sauce- which helped balance the spiciness and bring out the best flavor. I would probably order the cheese monster as tenders next time, but interesting flavor. The boba is run separately behind what used to be the bar. Husband got the passion fruit milkis aide (comes in can shape), and I got a taro milk tea. Boba is great texture, great tea flavors.Hopefully service will straighten out, I will definitely try again soon!4/3/22 update: service is organized and the servers are knowledgeable about menu items. The food is still great, boba also still fun. Husband got the spicy tikku gizzard and it was a great texture. We got the melona smoothies this time-sweet and delicious.
Terrible customer service. Took about 15 minutes for the server to come take our order after we were seated. There are also little trash bins on your table to dispose of bones and garbage, etc. They didn't bother to throw away the trash from the last guests. Had to request for pickled radish and chopsticks because our server didn't bring them out. Food came out cold. Sorry excuse for fried chicken, barely had any meat on the bones. Some were even dry and boneless when we ordered a "half chicken", not boneless. If you're wanting some good korean fried chicken with amazing service, please do yourself a favor and go to the original CM chicken in Glenview.
Love this place, my new addiction! I started with the original chicken, then I went for the shrimp (the jumbo really are jumbo) I want to eat there every day. The owner Joong is really nice aways a pleasant smile and warm greeting. Fate plays a cruel trick at times I am leaving the area (new job) as soon as my favorite lunch spot opens...boo who, so long Table 19, I will remember our good times for one short week...I LIVED!I like the dramatic!!
