I’ve been to this location twice and both times I ordered the exact same thing. The appetizer trio. Both times my food came out cold. When I sent it back, my egg rolls came back the same way. Idk if it’s an issue with the cooks, or lack of communication with the server and the kitchen. Thought I’d give them another shot but, I got the same results.
I have gone to Chili's in Vernon Hills and the food was good but the staff is totally not friendly at all. Sadly I used to go there weekly a few years ago and experience unfriendly staff but I loved their food but I stopped going because of the unfriendly treatment. So I went back to see if things changed and believe it or not...no change and I even had a friend with me and she felt the same way. Just sad bc their food is delicious.

Probably also the busser as the dirty table next to us remained uncleaned until we left. We saw no other employee. We were seated, ordered drinks timely. Ordered appetizer and lunch, receiving appetizer just before lunch. Food was good, tasty and hot. Received drink refills then didn't see girl again. Attempted self check out, but machine wasn't cooperating and a male who must've just started work and was finally cleaning dirty table nearby did assist us. Saw several people constantly looking around for waitstaff obviously becoming frustrated. Again, food good, but not impressed on service aspect.
Anyone reading this, you'll get the most bang for your buck going her. You gotta order this deal at the back of the menu. It's a meal 3 for $10.99 and you get any drink(free refills) order a nice soup of you want for a starter(southwest chicken soup I love). Then you choose an amazing entree, I recommend ordering the honey chipotle chicken tenders. You get 5 big ol crispy, tender, chicken tenders and with a good amount of perfectly seasoned fries and a delicious corn on the cob and for just $12(including tax) it's the best thing to order for this good person that's reading this. First time eating at this restaurant and most likely will be the last. Chips tasted like they had been fried in rancid greese, the ribs were not heated completely through and the blackberry tea was all sugary with no blackberry taste. Aside from the friendly and over-worked waitress...they apparently only had one cook who obviously couldn't keep up. I was disappointed - I used to eat at a local Chili's in another state and their food was always delicious!
Well, I used to enjoy Chili's because they made chili the original way, with real beef stew meat.Now it's cheap, ground beef and at least for this batch, someone dropped a salt shaker in the recipe! I won't be back...
You know what... for people complaining about service... listen... its "covid times" and small business (restaurants) are short staffed. (it is what it is) . Danny the bartender and working half the tables did a great job. Food was good but people settle down on service beefs. if you have problems everywhere you go maybe you should stay in and quit complaining.
We came in for only dessert. It was excellent and the service was great. More importantly, I left my purse and they recovered it and held it safe for me. I’m so grateful for Allison and the team. Thank you for being awesome humans.
We stood at the entrance for ten minutes and no one came to greet us. There were a couple girls talking in the back. Went to Buffalo wild wings next door instead.
