Nicole was extremely beautiful but I was too shy to talk to her.
Went here tonight with a few friends to grab a drink. Got told that all of our IDs were fake and refused service. Apparently a cop checked them but we were not allowed to know where the cop was, because there was definitely not a cop there. The manager on duty was very rude to us in the way she handled it, treating us like criminals and making us very uncomfortable for trying to have a legal drink. We were told to never come back with our "fakes" or they would be taken from us as they had scanned them into their system. Me and my friends will never be back after how this was handled, we are all well above the legal drinking age and have never had an experience like this before. Train your managers how to better check IDs, because obviously they have no idea what one actually looks like.
I love The Whistle! Great, friendly atmosphere, the bartenders are wonderful! So professional, kind and fun. The food is really good and the prices are very reasonable. The clientele is diverse and very kind and friendly. I don't drink alcohol, I go there to watch baseball, but I order food and lemonade. I highly recommend this lovely pub! ?
The staff was friendly and attentive but the food was so bland. I ordered the prime filet steak sandwich which was supposed to be on garlic bread. The bread was cold and the piece of steak was so thin you could barely tell there was any meat on it. My boyfriend ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and said it was the blandest food he has ever had, nothing was seasoned. Also the drinks are ridiculously over priced. $12 for a blue moon!!! Our bill was $68…for that much money we could have went to a nice steak house and actually got good food. This place was very disappointing we will never be going back.
Nichole is a great bartender and thr atmosphere and people are great.
Fun spot. Clean and friendly atmosphere. A wide variety of beverages and excellent food. The Crew is on their game here and very hospitable. You will not be disappointed. P.S. Easy access off the 159th and plenty of parking too.
The service was okay. The fried pickles were soggy, the buffalo chicken sandwich was barely breaded and dry with what seemed to be day old wilted onions on top and the fries was barely warm. The Oak Lawn location has always been the better pick. I don't come often but after every visit, I try to remind myself to not come back here.
I’ve been to the TInley location a number of times within the last year. My first two visits were pretty decent but my past few experiences have been terrible. Their nachos were salty this visit, after literally two bites I asked if I can send it back and just have it removed from my bill. My waitress took the nachos back to show the manager that they were not eaten. She then came back to tell me that he said he couldn’t take them off the bill. Of course, I asked to speak with him. Nick, the manager, came to tell me he cannot take it off the bill per owners request. He can though, replace it with another menu item. Ironic that he had to still remove the nachos off of my bill and replace it with the ice cream I ordered. This was an awful experience. Having a degree in management this made me furious. I would hate to ever hear a customer complain about an easy fix. Especially, when their bill was already over $50. Why, because that’s simply unprofessional and inconsiderate. There’s a such thing as "the customer is always right".
This place is great. The drinks are good and are reasonable in price. The waitress are very nice and attentive. Every time we have gone we get seated right away. Only problem I ran into is that if you are trying to view their menu which you have to use your phone for. You have little to no service.
Food was so old and nasty ? I think because they was busy. The gave out re dipped fries. The potato salad super nasty and Server was rude. I’ll never come again and when we didn’t want our food they said we had to pay for it anyway.
