Not sure whats up at this location, but the last two times Ive gone here the food has been bad. Most recent was on 4/1, ordered carry out, and the burger was burnt. Not just the edges, like normal, but the entire burger. It was not edible and wound up throwing most of it out. Ive been eating Schoop's since the late 80's and this location has never been of the quality as say Munster, Calumet City or even Michigan City, but this was bad enough for me to not want to go back.
It's been 5 years too long since we had a Schoop's hamburger until today!! MISS this restaurant being in Bourbonnais!! We happened to have an appt in Tinley Park & stopped in for their infamous burger!!! O M G!!! Still as terrific as always! We will b back in town on Friday & will return to satisfy ourselves w/ the best burger on this planet!!
Grew up with this place, especially the ridge road location in Lansing, the Chicago heights location (unfortunately closed), the Tinley Park location, the scherriville location, the University Park location. And I think Theseus one in St. John, IN. There’s also a couple I’m forgetting at the moment. Great burger place, one of the best!
I remember they used to have one on 95th in Hickory hills , im so glad to have found another one. Great homemade Burger. I gained 5 lbs thinking about it!!
If you want the authentic schoops experience goto 155 torrence location they have green river and I've never had an over cooked burger and soggy fries from burnt grease but our waitress was nice
