Charged me $1 credit card "convenience fee" despite no posted sign at the register I was at. Cashier never said a word about it. Cash register next to me had a sign which was half covered by something sitting on the counter which I only saw after the fact. I consider that theft and will be doing a CC chargeback for that $1.Gyro was dry and not very good, usually Gyros are consistent no matter where you go. This one wasn't that good.
The food was not hot/fresh and the fries were cold and soggy ?.This is a response to pops telling my why didn't I call, I didn't because it wasn't the first time it happened to me and as I can see now that I take my time and look at your reviews I'm not the only one, I always give a chance before I put a review but I've had enough and gave you 1 star and a short review I could have went on and ranted about it but I didn't, please improve your food quality of being hot and fresh thank you.
Got the shrimp ate 3 the fourth was cold and raw on the inside. Fries where half cooked and limp. I could not eat the slaw because the didn't include a fork or napkins. Will not go back
Food is well-packaged, delicious and arrives on-time and frequently early. Orders are correct. Food arrives hot. Everything I've had was good and the seasoned fries are to die for.
Italian beef with hot gardenaria. Tons of beef on each sandwich. What more can I say, delicious. Love the fries too.
You can't tell me there's nothing on this menu you don't want. I love this place. It's affordable and hits the spot. Definitely worth a try.
Counter person not friendly, portions are large and fresh. Had a beef w/sweet and fries which were hot, but lack flavor.....
Italian beef with cheese was delicious, didn't like the fries but I couldn't eat them anyway I was full from the Italian beef lol, very friendly people. I'll be back frfr
The Italian steak was very good. I also had a hotdog, the relish was the bright green I loved it.
OK Pops has arguably the best Italian beef on the Southside. They are right up there with Portilo's. The thing makes Pops stand out is their home made giardiniera. It's amazing. They have several locations now including this one but the original one on 104th and kedzie is the best one. Never had a bad meal at any of their locations.
