First time for Ken Sr and I! Yay! Although it was crowded and we almost DIDNT GO… our experience was worth it! Most important GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and GREAT FOOD!
Friendly staff! Great food, served in a comfortable setting.
Don't you just love it when a glass of orange juice tastes like it just came off the tree? When the slogan "fresh squeezed" really means something? And if you are traditional breakfast folks, as we are, don't you just love it when old standbys like Eggs Benedict and Belgian Waffle and Corned Beef Hash are on the menu? Those are good reasons to have breakfast at Eggheadz Cafe in Tinley Park. Located at 16952 Oak Park Avenue, at Ravina Drive, it opened in 2010 and has been satisfying early risers in the south suburbs ever since. Open from 6:30 to 3 daily, be advised to arrive early because it takes time to navigate the expansive menu of waffles crepes, French toast, omelettes, pancakes, skillets, coffee, juices and smoothies. Start with orange juice or pineapple orange juice or orange strawberry juice. Finish with a strawberry and peach or orange, pleach and pineapple smoothie. I passed up home-made corned beef hash with two scrambled eggs in favor of my favorite breakfast treat, Classic Eggs Benedict, with two poached eggs, on top of Canadian bacon on a toasted English muffin and topped with hollandaise sauce. With a side of hash brown potatoes. As many times as I've enjoyed Eggs Benedict in the morning, it never gets old. Some are better than others. But it never disappoints. Meanwhile, my wife chose her favorite breakfast item, Classic Belgian Waffle, with fruit topping, powdered sugar and whipped cream. With a side of sausage. Breakfast never tasted so good.
Never been to Eggheads since 2015, it's still as good as it was. Love the food and service, such an amazing place, you really feel home!
Busy on a Friday morning at 10:00, a somewhat younger crowd than you would find at Lumes on 159th St. Service was very good. Breakfast was good -- eggs, bacon, hash browns. They made a mistake on my toast order, but I didn't mind. Orange juice was the real thing. All fine, but pricey. $37 for two, before tip.
I come here often for breakfast, service always great as well as the food.
Good food. Very popular place. There was about a 20 min wait to get a table. Very nice staff. Would visit again.
Good dining! Food was so good. I had the farmers skillet with a side of buttermilk pancakes. Delicious! The place was packed butcthe wait was not long. Clean table, friendly service, good food, and quick service made a great experience. I met up with a friend for brunch and so glad we chose this place. I definitely plan on revisiting.
This place is excellent. Both the food and the service were outstanding. I really enjoyed the traditional cakes, eggs, sausage, and hash browns. My wife said the Greek skillet was awesome as well. The coffee/latte's and fresh squeezed OJ also come highly recommended.
