We went to Ed & Joe's expecting to get pizza & beer. We ended up getting a gourmet meal! It's a good thing we decided to split an entrée because the artichoke spinach dip was enough for a party of 10! Both quantity and quality were outstanding. Add to that the grilled pita with crusty parmesam cheese and you'll wonder why you ordered an entree at all.For an entree, we ordered the cod dinner with a mixed green salad. Easier to split. To be honest, I was expecting fish and chips. The salad was complete with dried cranberries, croutons, onions and mixed greens. Yum! We opted for the homemade garlic and blue cheese dressings. We were more impressed with the blue cheese. However, they were both just okay. Now that cod!!! Baked cod in a wonderful white sauce, with sliver thin bacon and grilled red onions, zucchini and potatoes! We didn't finish it because we wanted to savor what we had!We passed on dessert! We'll save that for another day because we will definitely go back!
It's a fun looking place to be doing the holidays. The food is fresh and tasty.
I was generous to give it 4 stars only because Tinley Park is a pizza desert... I lived in Tinley for a few years and i always drive to the city to get a good pizza but this place will be your best bet in Tinley. Not bad
The pizza is superb, the range of craft beers is terrific, plus the friendly and efficient staff, and if the ambience of a pizzeria in a historic building paying homage to Tinley Park's past appeals to you then this is a must-do for you.
Food is always top notch. And the pizza is a life long favorite. Always offers of freebies and buy one get one free. Enjoy!
Food was amazing as well as the service. It wasn't busy when we went and the service was on par. Even the prices weren't bad. We paid roughly about $108 but that was with 5 people, we ended up getting a large pizza, while the kids got their own food and of course drinks both non-alcoholic and alcoholic.
My sister and I went to Ed & Joe's to have pizza for my 61st birthday. They gave our pizza to the wrong table and the waitress asked us if we wanted to wait 30 mins for a new pizza or eat the other tables pizza. Well of course we went for a new pizza. When the new one was delivered it was burnt and the waitress said I can give you a free beer but instead gave us a $2.50 discount. We are highly disappointed in our experience today as we have been going to Ed & Joe's since we were young kids and have never been disappointed before but will think twice about going back again
A great place to grab a nice dinner at a reasonable price. The pizzas are always good, as well as the rest of the menu. They carry a large range of craft beers along with the regular domestics. The waitstaff is always outstanding and will go out of their way to make sure you are accommodated.
I ordered the thin crust pizza and the cheese lovers appetizer. The breaded raviolis weren't spicy (which was a good thing) because my son was eating them. The pizza was good had sausage and pepperoni as the toppings. Only down side is the pricing but if you're willing to pay more for quality I say try this location.
Delicious sausage pizza!! The service is fast and friendly, and the food outstanding!
