I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!
Such a great concept! I have been to Avocado Theory 3 times, and I loved it each time. The prices may seem a tad high for things like Avocado Toast, but once you see the amount of Avocado you get...you understand you get what you pay for! Everything has been fresh and delicious. They currently offer free infused water, tea, and coffee in the mornings. I will be back!
Been here twice and both times I’ve had great food and friendly service. I know I have to try something different but the Avocado Rice Bowl with mango salsa and shrimp was so good I’ve had it twice. I can also speak for the Avocado Mac & Cheese. My son said it was the best he’s ever had, I tasted it and you know what, he lost about 5 more bites because he’s right.
Incredible avocado fries and dipping sauces. The shrimp and avocado roll up was out of this world.
Everyone should try this place. They have a little bit of everything with an avocado twist. My husband and I loved the food and the atmosphere. The pineapple salsa Thai salmon dish was amazing. Very fresh and low carb. Their guac is bomb! Definitely a lovely addition to Tinley.

Update: after the initial opening the service was on and off. When placing an order for pick up, the order was not even looked at until I got there, so I had to wait. This happened 3 times, and normally when I’m placing an order for pick up it is because I’m short on time and on the go. Next time I will just cancel my order if it is not ready when I says it is. Secondly, I ordered the gluten free toast and the “toast” was not toasted! Who wants cold bread with avocado? They were very apologetic which went a long way in the end.—So far I have tried the Avocado Lover’s toast, the bacon and egg avocado toast, the mango smoothie, and the falafel. So many great healthy dinner options too.Service was slightly slow the first weekend they were open but that is to be expected during the first weekend opening.Food was great and I love that they have gluten free options! Can’t wait to make it my regular stop.
What a surprise! Beautiful layout with the glass garage doors, great decor, very comfortable. This will be a winner this summer because of the outdoor patio. The food was even better, I tried the chicken breast Keto plate with cauliflower rice and steak and potatoes dish, so good. Highly recommend this place for a change of pace to usual restaurant. The menu is very large with plenty of choices even if you don’t like avocados, you can still eat here! Excellent everything !
This is such a great local spot to get a healthy meal. I have been a couple of times and each time the food is very fresh and high quality. Many vegan and vegetarian options, too! And the atmosphere is great. Can’t wait to go back and try something new.
This review is long overdue while I have visited this place (3) times in two weeks! ? At my first visit I was greeted by the most pleasant and knowledgeable employee. Later discovered she and her husband own the place! I trusted her recommendations. Glad I did. I had the best avocado wrap ever! Added mushroom arugula and spinach with mango salsa?The avocado fries were a first , but certainly not a last. My second visit did not disappoint! Greeted by yet another awesome employee. After my avocado fries, falafel and rice bowl order was complete I discovered the employee was a good friend of mine’s daughter. Third visit. The unimaginable happened. I got home took my avocados fries, wrap, avocado chicken rice bowl(wife) vegan bowl for myself and a guacamole??? for my daughter out the bag and no guacamole! Checked receipt to be sure and sure enough I was charged for it. Broke the news to my daughter. She was disappointed. I called immediately. The voice on the phone was understanding and asked where I lived? I thought it was a odd question while I asked that it be noted the next time I come I will retrieve the missing item. Apparently, that was no good enough for Malissa,owner. ? My home is in Homewood. Not only did she personally deliver the guacamole but added a slice of avocado cheesecake(my favorite) too! The smile on my daughter’s face was priceless. Avocado Theory you have three new customers + my (food porn) followers☺️ Thanks a million for a fantastic experience!
