This place lacks ambience very stark. The hostess was not professional at all. I had asked for dining room and she immediately asked if we wanted to sit at the bar? Gave us a seat in the middle of the room when most table were empty. We asked to move to a table along the wall. Server was attentive. Food is good.
Loved the size of the sushi rolls!!! Great tasting food. My out of town guests loved it! We were quick to be seated! Although the hostess was not friendly! The only thing I would mention is⦠the chair I sat it was loose and it almost broke as I sat down!
This was the first time we had visited Wok n Fire since they moved to the east side of St. Charles. The food was very good, possibly better than itâs been in the past. The Inky roll was absolutely amazing and the St. Charles roll was almost as good. We will definitely be back!
The food here is no joke! Top notch quality and clean place with a cool unique drink menu. The Burgers are out of this world you must try them. They also have happy hour . The employees and the owner are truly a class act and they invite you in with open arms. Stay tuned for the finish of the construction because place will look awesome when it's completed.
Expensive. Small portions. The Black Widow Spider roll was delicious but the sweet and sour chicken was not. The server was super friendly and very attentive. They are going through a remodel. The booths we sat in had "temporary" couches and they were terrible. No back support and we sank in the seat. I know it's a favorite for many people, however I can't say that for my first time there. I had fairly high expectations based on what I've heard and I was just not overly impressed.
The new wok and fire though a nice new atmosphere has really missed its mark on the food. The old scallop dish has been changed to small fried scallops. The food prices are way too high for the quality. The teri steak looked like a couple pieces of steak with some sauce thrown on it. Terrible presentation. One of our guest ordered fried rice got white rice. Had to ask 3 times to finally get it. The front entrance is still not finished but plywood finished We will not be going back. We miss the old Wok and Fire.
The music is way too loud. Needs to be cozier
Dined here during happy hour before a concert at the Arcada. Food was delicious, drinks thirst quenching and service was great. Reasonably priced for delicious food and great drinks. Highly recommend and will definitely be back as this is definitely one of our favs!
The food was not as good as downtown location was, the sauce and noddle's were different. The menu is very limited.
Donât like the ambiance. Feels like a cafeteria. People were sweeping the floor around us while we were eating and mopping w a big stinky bucket. Food was not as good as I remembered. Sesame rice w sea bass. Was nothing but a scoop of plain white rice. No flavor. And I have a stomach ache today. I wonât go back.
