Went to The Hive tonight with my wife who is the pickiest eater alive. We both ordered the Cajun Pasta with Chicken and my wife polished it off. It was amazing. Nina and her staff was so friendly and inviting. We have now found our go to place in St Charles. My wife also ordered an espresso martini I think and she also loved that. Can’t wait to go back so many things I want to try there. I would say it’s not your normal bar food this is elevated to a much higher level and the way it was plated was so classy and SO good. Wish I would have thought to take a picture but sorry nothing left.

Enjoyed my visit here. Food never disappoints. The portobello fries are fantastic. Nice selection of beer on tap. Must try the old fashioned which was carefully crafted by our bartender. It's more of a quiet and elevated scene vs the surrounding bars.
The food was amazing. We had the canjun pasta with shrimp. It was really creamy and the seasoning was on point. The dish also came with the option of soup or salad. I had the corn chowder and it was really good! My husband had the Hive Steak Sandwich with the tatter-tots. The steak was well cooked and the tatter tots were nice and crunchy.As for drinks, they have a wide selection of beer. I am not a huge beer fan so I opted for a cocktail. I decided to try their winter vacation martini. It was not my favorite but I decided to take a risk ??♀️ I then went with usual a lemon drop martini. I have to say it was the best lemon drop martini I’ve had in awhile.The staff were also very nice and attentive.We will definitely be back.
