Atmosphere is beautiful and a very nice vibe, open kitchen so you see everything, bartenders are friendly and make the drinks strong. Food was phenomenal, only reason this isn’t 5 stars is we made a reservation and still had to wait 45 mins. But they were busy and this place is popular but would def return.
Loved the atmosphere and location on the river. Our table provided a great view of the downtown nightlife. Service was very attentive and the food selections were limited, but well thought out. I can personally recommend the octopus for appetizer, salmon for entree and a smooth cocktail called the small, dark and handsome.
Just wonderful experience and food! From the beautiful venue on the fox river to the great (attentive) wait staff to the wonderful cheese bread to the food that is both flavor and texture amazing! I would say this is among my top 5 food experiences… ever. And I have 68 years of food experiences :)
Absolutely gorgeous place! Food was delicious( even my husband liked it and ordered more and more, even though he is not a fan of fancy places). Beautifully designed, the patio is so beautiful! Amazing experience and great service!
First time visiting The Graceful Ordinary and most certainly won't be the last. My wife and I loved our experience and can't wait to bring her parents back with us next time. The staff was very professional, polite, and friendly. Kind of felt like an extended family. The food was delicious and the ambiance has the perfect combination of luxury and comfort. Planning to do brunch very soon. A special thanks to Adam the head Chef and Rose who made us feel very welcome.
Well, there are lots of places to go out to eat in the Fox Valley. This place was different - a FOOD EXPERIENCE!! From the detail of acknowledging it was our anniversary, to giving us a card signed by staff, to recommending all of the great food - it was amazing! The food was outstanding and we had many different things on the menu. Everything was spot on! Thank you for a fantastic dinner experience!
Absolutely fantastic! The aesthetic of the real burning candles, the decor and the fabulous staff have made every one of my experiences amazing! I have gone with family and friends and have even made it in with some coworkers for lunch! Everyone loved it! Stop by to see the whole crew, you won’t be disappointed!
Truly a graceful experience! The entire establishment is done up well to suit the mood. It’s melodramatic with European flare. It’s “intimate” as they put it. The minute you enter, you will forget that you are in St. Charles. Lauren and Candice at the bar were great with craft cocktails. The food was literally the best we ever had in the burbs. The chef is creative and whips up delicious and attractive dishes. We had Chef's table, and we had a great time chatting with Chef Adam while he was meticulously preparing the dishes. This place is worth the hype. I have many favorite dishes, but you must try: acorn squash ravioli, fried chicken, and for desert butterscotch pot de crème. Another wonderful evening at Graceful Ordinary! Delicious food, great service…there was even a mix-up with our reservation (our fault), and not only did they work it out…for 6 of us, we had a great table!
Came for the brunch and had the best drinks and burger we’ve ever had! And our service from nick was incredible. Would recommend everyone tries the brunch.
