We picked up Sushi Diva on a whim and it was delicious. The dragon rolls had shrimp, which is not my favorite, but they were still so good. The sauces are flavorful and the presentation was great. We will be back.
We love Sushi Diva. The sushi is always fresh and there is lots to choose from. The staff of friendly and helpful. We are loyal customers!
many sushi varieties here. friendly wait staff, with attentive service. the food was delicious, and i look forward to eating here in future.
Highly recommend their sushi tacos!
I absolutely love this place. The sushi is amazing! So many options to choose from. I personally enjoy the Surf Turf, Shrimp Crunchy, and French Kiss! There are so many more that are delicious! Besides the food, the service is amazing. Now a day it is really hard to find good customer service when dining out. Here, they always manage to be so friendly. I love it! I will definitely be coming back! If you are thinking about trying this place. TRY IT OUT!!
Our experience was not up to what I was expecting. The location is a strip mall, so the interior is along the lines of what you'd expect. There are plenty of pictures, but it's not the type of place I'd expect to spend $25 a plate. The miso soup had hardly anything in it - mostly green onion with no tofu and very little other greens. The salad was typical, with iceberg lettuce, carrot, and red cabbage - super sweet dressing. To me, these salads are so sweet and feel like cafeteria food - the dressing was put on top like a ladle of gravy. The nigiri cuts were good and well sized but one was a little "ragged", though "chef's choice" was just basic fish like salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. At some places, chef's choice can mean whatever the chef thinks is best today, but here it seemed like just the least expensive pieces - two of each and the same on two orders. The fish did have great texture though. I was also surprised that out of 12 pieces, none were seasoned with soy or wasabi - they just cut the fish and put it on, which in my opinion is like a chef saying, "I didn't know how to season this dish, so here's a salt shaker. I hope you figure it out." After my first bite which I found unseasoned, I checked all of them. Sushi should be seasoned - customers can adjust and dredge the rice through soy sauce if they want, but I should be able to just eat your sushi as-is and it should taste great. The Maki were good, though the spicy tuna roll would have benefitted from some more acidity and spice - the spicy tuna mixture inside wasn't very spicy. Ultimately, I think this place is more geared towards ordering Maki with lots of different sauces and flavors rather than nigiri or sashimi. If you look at some pictures of the signature rolls, there is a lot of sauce.I'd go back, knowing what it is, but skip the "meal" and just try a few different Maki. The sushi chef at Mr. Sushi was better with the basic preparations and had better seasoned sushi rice, but unfortunately closed on Tuesdays.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we enjoyed the great time . We sat at the Sushi Bar and Jorge our chef took care of us. He made a special sauce for our sushi and created rolls that melted in our mouth. We ordered appetizer and two specials. And the mint tea ice cream for dessert.
Love the Ocean Breeze signature roll and the Firefox ! Everything I have tried so far has been delicious and fresh ! Definitely one of my favorite sushi restaurants so far!
Love Shrimp Crunchy Roll! Salmon Bento Box Is delicious as well, has 4 pieces of California roll, shrimp and veggie tempura, rice, soup, salad and gyosa! for such a great deal!
A delightful dining experience. The food is all delicious and the service was spectacular. Karen was our server, and she was fantastic. She was attentive, polite, and quick to help us out. The prices are fair and they have a lot of great options from sushi to bento. This place is a hidden gem in St. Charles.
