One of our favorite sushi restaurants. They never disappoint!
We came here with our 4 young kids. They brought out my moms plate first. Then over an HOUR later brought out the basic rice sushi rolls we ordered our kids then another 45 minutes after that came our own rolls and before we got our last one, as each came out about 10 minutes from each other, we had to tell them enough is enough forget it we have to leave as we were there for over 2 hours at that point. Our kids lost their patience understandably. Then, when we complained several times the manager rolled her eyes at us and gave us a hard time. We were not the only ones very upset tonight. We wish we could support local with this one but no way.
Fresh, tasty sushi offerings in a clean friendly atmosphere. Barriers between tables because of COVID. Service a bit slow.
This place never disappoints. My husband and I have been going to this place for many years now. We always try something new and leave satisfied. Chef Shima is super nice and everything we ordered so far truly made our tummies very happy ? They do need to work on their turnaround time though. I suggest have some appetizers first - they’re so good too esp their beef & asparagus, shumai & agedashi tofu ?? We arrived at 7pm and ordered several rolls, crab Rangoon and tempura. The crab Rangoon and tempura took 30 minutes to get and the tempura was 3 veggie pieces that were very undercooked and they gave us spring rolls instead of Rangoon and never fixed it Service on the sushi was very slow. We checked back periodically and at 9pm even though we had already been told twice they were already making it, they finally said they wouldn’t start making it for some time yet. She was very surprised that I cancelled the order and didn’t want to wait 2 1/2 hours for sushi. Now I know why I saw a customer cancel his order when we walked in.
Great sushi for a great price, but the service was awful. Our food took way too long and the restaurant wasn’t busy, and our party’s food came out at different times (one roll at a time).
Great food. Good atmosphere. Nice people. My only issue is they always have the person answering the phones, serving tables, fine, but they're overworked and never available at the front door, hanging out in the kitchen, so they table/door service is below average.
Super bummed. Really like their food but the service is so, so slow. And, tonight we had a bug on one of the plates. It took them a very long time to get back to us after we informed them. They did take that roll off the bill. Not sure we will go back a 4th time....
I just moved to the area and wanted to order sushi for take out. No one picks up the phone and I've tried 6 times on different days and times. Don't waste your time with this place.
Have not been disappointed with the food, very good. Service, like so many places lacks a little. Make sure you clearly let them know what you want. Also, if others different styles of meals, ask that they all come together.
