Service was very attentive to our needs. Drink refills were provided without having to ask. The bread, soups, salads and pasta entrees were all house made and prepared as ordered. The soups were very hearty and flavorful. The pasta entrees were large portion sizes and you can taste the quality of the food is spectacular. The mozzarella sticks and fried zucchini appitizers we're plenty big to share. Beautiful view of the Fox River while dining inside.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available upon request Parking: Plenty of parking available on siteWheelchair accessibility: No stairs required to enter establishment.
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The staff were professional and friendly. The view and atmosphere are unique and absolutely beautiful. We had antipasto for our Appetizers and the everything pizza. Every single bite was delicious. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.I want to add I saw a couple bad reviews before I went stating they took a long time...it's a beautiful sit down restaurant, not fast food. We spent about 2 hours total there and the food was fresh and piping hot. If you're in a hurry grab it to go but if you have time, I highly recommend sitting outside on the patio to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere!
Really good food and ambiance, not the cheapest place but the quality is outstanding, would recommend to anyone, we took another couple there a month ago and they want to go back to try the food they did not order last time because the food they did order was excellent.
Table view of the river was nice. Service was good. Pizza crust was dry and tough..hard to eat. Would still go back to give food another chance as it could have been an off night for their cook or my taste buds.
We've enjoyed both dine-in and carry-out for pasta. My husband loves the spinach lasagna. I prefer the fettuccine alfredo. For dine-in, entree includes a generous salad and warm bread.Portions are plenty for two meals. Service has always been good in our experiences.
Went to go have a nice dinner on the new patio and was happy to see the new tables. We ordered some cokes which we’re cooking completely flat and tasted like we’ll water but the waitress was very friendly about it. The mozzarella sticks came out and they were about 4 sizes larger than normal but the breading had no taste at all just flower no seasoning, we each had one and let the waitress know without requesting anything but she insisted on asking the manager “Joe” to take them off the bill but later came back and said he wasn’t able to do that. About an hour after we had ordered our pizza (extra thin sausage and pepperoni with light sauce) it came out burnt to a crisp. The waitress that was at the next table over bumped the pizza pan and half of it dumped over, she was about to clean it up and we let her know it was burned and we didn’t want it and would just take the check now. She apologized and went to go get “Joe”. He was very Rude and abrupt - he began shouting at me telling me this is the way they’ve always made their pizzas and it wasn’t burned and he’s been making pizzas since he was 4 years old… I told him it was nothing personal it was just too well done for our taste. He then got about 4 inches from my face and began yelling at me telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about and my opinion was worth nothing. This happened in front of an entire patio full of guests. It was extremely embarrassing and unpleasant. The waitress apologized for our unpleasant experience and then Joe walked up to her and He then began to yell at her and told her if she didn’t like what she saw she could find a new job somewhere else. I felt awful for her. I hope someone can do something about this Guy, he’s a real piece of work. Just because he manages a restaurant on the river in a great location doesn’t mean he can be rude to his guests and verbally abusive and threatening to his staff. It’s just unacceptable that he is still in business.
It was amazing! Took our family there for dinner. Jeanette was our server and she was excellent.
Had a great dinner with my kids tonight. I was craving pizza and had never taken the kids there. Truth be told, I hadn't been in a few years. It was raining outside, and was glad they had a covered drive to drop people off. Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive. Drinks were always refilled, and she interacted well with my kids. The pizza was terrific. It came out piping hot. The crust had a good crack on the bottom with some chew in the middle. The toppings were very generous. Restaurant was clean, although a bit dated. Definitely recommend for a great, dine in, pizza experience.
food was delicious, far exceeded my expectations
Great traditional/ Thick Crust Pizza. Located on the Fox River very scenic when dining cozy warm dining room with a Old School feel to it. My only issue is the Price, but what is affordable anymore?!
