Good beer, good fries and good friends. I like this Rookies, I've been coming here for years now. Never really been disappointed. Love the fries at this place, it's my favorite thing to order. Boneless Wings in the picture (windy city BBQ Sauce).
We always enjoy our time at Rookies. From the tasty popcorn to our delicious burger to the friendly service, we are never disappointed.In fact, I said to my wife tonight "I always like coming here" and she said "so do I".I guess that says it all.
The last few times I've been here at the St.Charles location they have been out of the appetizer I have been wanting but food was good though... We usually go to the Elgin location all the time. Food is always great service as well!
Food was equivalent to a Kane co jail. The side of fry’s were for a small toddler. Long Island Iced tea was lemonade with I kid you not…..no alcohol. I will not be back nor recommend going. Too bad because waiter was nice and the place had a great atmosphere.
Stopped in Wednesday night for dinner. The food (gyros, wings, and kids meal) was really good. Mai Thai also very good. The service was excellent, and super nice.
No mask wearing at all there, even among the staff.Response for the owner's query about my review - I just pulled my receipts to get the exact date. This took place on Nov 8th, during the 8pm hour.
Food is average, but great mini-tacos and corn dogs. The reason we decided to visit it again. However, this time, the food was below average. Grilled cheese was more like toasted cheese. The bread on the BLT was stale, and I found plastic from the cheese in my BBQ sandwich. I told the waitress about the plastic and she apologized and was going to speak to the manager. She came back and said, sorry, my manager informed the kitchen and that was all they did! From working in the kitchen, you know that in one ear and out the other. Didn't even offer to take the couple of soda's off the bill!. Terrible customer service. Don't waste your time and money for average food and terrible customer service.
