My sisters and I took our mother/mother-in-law to dinner and she doesnât get out much but appreciated this wonderful dining experience. I had been to La Mesa before so I knew it was a no-risk reward for all. Service was wonderful, staff is friendly and helpful, table was cleaned before during and after our service, Drinks are spectacular, I highly recommend a hibiscus ginger margarita! Very spicy but very fun & celebratory as well. We ordered the elotes fries which were mighty tasty and four groups of tacos in which we made our own â taco flightsâ. Highly recommend that to be able to taste many different kinds of tacos as shareables. The food never disappoints. We always leave fall and satisfied. Itâs a lovely ambience and the outside seating near the water features are divine. Today we ate inside however because it was 100° outside and we were grateful to be able to have a view to the outside from our comfortable air conditioned window table. We will be back again and again.
Service was awful, my salad was not very good, too much lettuce and not enough chicken and salad dressing
Great service, Super cute patio with running water fountains. Food was good!
Waited 20 min for a server to greet us and then another 40min to get our first drink. Overall time at the restaurant was almost 3hrs long waiting for drinks/food. Also, the whole staff was all 18yrs old or younger and the other half of the staff didnât speak English. The worst part of it all, was that we waited all that time and the food was mediocre at best. Never going back.
Short staffed and not a manager in sight
Menu offered at the restaurant was different than what the online menu was. Had to order from the online menu for more vegetarian options. Appetizer plates were dirty and had food on them. Drink orders were forgotten and when they arrived, one drink had a foreign food goober on it 1 Entree came out with incorrect toppings 2 Entrees were missing Great news was the manager offered to take the items that were mishandled off the check and the 2 Entrees that did come out, came out looking and tasting great.

Was celebrating anniversary. The online menu was different from the actual menu which was disappointing. Service was really bad - waiter never came and we always had to flag them down. No vegetarian options - not sure why they donât have veggie tacos. Also chips and salsa are not standard - they charge for salsa. Would not go back nor recommend mainly due to service and lack of options.
Did not get 2 sides we ordered and were billed for them. Asked to be taken off check. Food looked hastily prepared and not what I would expect for what we were charged. Service was very slow. Overall a poor/fair experience. I live in the area and not sure I will go back for a while.
service was slow, drinks were not good and food was not expedited well - chips came with nothing to dip them in, guacamole appetizer came out 10 minutes after our dinner, server forgot to bring sides for the fajitas. Overall, just a real disappointment.
