Star ratings. 1 bad. 2 below average. 3 average / neutral. 4 good. 5 excellent.Great guacamole. Standard local Mexican restaurant. Good for families plenty of options ample seating.
The food here is just ok, very bland. The best part was their salsa. Don't think I'll be back, to many other Mexican restaurants with more flavors.
El Puente is located in downtown St Charles. There is no dedicated parking however there are city parking lots within walking distance. The restaurant has a bar which also offers dinning. The restaurant was busy but the wait was short. The food was good and the strawberry margarita was good. A friend recommended we try it and we were not disappointed.
We have enjoyed many meals here over the years, but tonight was our last night at El Puente. Wish them the best of luck, but burrito was terrible and everyone else at our table was very unimpressed. We were there celebrating a special occasion but the food was anything but special. Wish you the best!
The food was made so poorly and fell apart. Everything was soggy and bland, no taste. Asked for no onions and their were loads of onions. Worst Mexican cuisine I've ever had. will never go back. Only thing they didn't mess up were the chips. SERIOUSLY?????
been going to this restaurant for years and the quality has been consistent. The taste and experience has always met my expectations. great food great atmosphere great people.!
We've been customers for over 20 years and this is our go to for great Mexican food in our area. Chicken fajitas and flautas are our favorites.
Best Mexican Restaurant in St. Charles.
Not very Authentic. The usual runny refried beans, rice, large flour tortia with wet chicken. Standard boring Mexican food. Not much flavor. Average or lower Mexican food. Sign says you have to wear mask. Unless you are friends of the restaurant. Then you can sit in the middle of the restaurant maskless. Total BS! Taco Bell is a better option!
Really really good enchiladas. Their margaritas are perfect!!
