If you are reading this review... please know... the cow thing... um... I am planning on seeing a doctor soon about it... but... THERE I WAS... driving down a city street with Breakfast on my mind... when suddenly I heard a cow going Mooo... and as I looked over... there were 3 of them looking at me and I suddenly smelled the Cinnamon Smell you get like from a Country Fair... So... I stopped... Once inside a Lovely Waitress showed me to my table... There was the Wonderful Smell of Breakfast in the air as I looked over the drink selection... The Coffee came first... Cream... Jelly... and before I knew it... MY ORDER HAD ARRIVED... Oh it looked FANTASTIC... And the TASTE... so SPOT ON... with that COUNTRY MORNING GOODNESS... Maybe the cows will call you too from the side of the road... And then you too will see... what a Country Fair Cinnamon Breakfast... tastes like...
We went there on Mother's day brunch. The staffs were very friendly and the food were delicious. Customers for life.
I have been past this place a hundred times over the last 10 years and never visited. Today I decided to. Service was good, food wasn't bad, but have had better. I ordered the pulled pork tacos, maybe not one of their specialties. Pork was a little dry. Another person in my party ordered the pot pie, he said it was good. And another ordered the shrimp tacos, said they were good. Would probably return to try the ice cream, but didn't this time.
This was a really nice restaurant. The portions were large, staff was friendly. Had a decent menu and plenty of dessert choices. It was loud but that was due to it being busy. Server was patient and knew everything there was to know about the menu.
We enjoyed breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Colonial Cafe. The food was the usual, good quality of any Colonial Cafe. The servers were friendly and busy. The Easter Bunny made the rounds, danced and passed out plastic eggs and toys. Great way to start the weekend!
Always good! Friendly service. Pricing has gone up quite a bit.
The food was delicious, hadn't been here in a while and I was not disappointed.
Everything is good! Great atmosphere
First time here and first time visiting St Charles. Very nice place to eat. The sandwiches are really top notch. We had a Reuben, pot roast french dip, pot roast plate and the classic fish n chips. All the plates were cleaned of food and were delicious. Didnt have room for dessert but we seen the kitchen sink and that looked very good. Maybe next time.
This place exceeds expectations by far! It's probably the best place I have eaten at in the whole area so far! If you have never been, then you need to check it out because it is the best food for country cooking I have had in a very long time! Not to mention the deserts... You can get just about anything you want. And.... they have cinnamon ice cream, which is one of my favorite flavors! Check them out; you'll be glad that you did!
