This place was good when It first opened awesome service and great quality food. Now every time I order food the packaging of the food is horrible no care whatsoever. The burritos are a mess and the bowls look unappetizing just being honest.
Second time visiting here. First time rice and meat was cold. Now the second and it was definitely old news. It's Chipotle it's always good but maybe they can practice beter food prep here. Anticipating the crowd helps

This location has a chipotlane. This was the second visit to this location for me that week. The first visit, my order was wrong so i wanted to make sure this one was correct. The girl running the food pick up was frazzled and rude. We pulled up and our order wasn't ready. She just stared at us. We asked if we should just wait and she shrugged her shoulders. She could have asked us to pull into a spot, but not knowing what to do we pulled back around to the end of a now six car line. When we finally got back up to the window and checked our food, the order was wrong. When we pointed out that it was incorrect the girl again shrugged her shoulders and told us she can't do anything about it right now...I totally understand being busy, and I sympathize with our food workers who are short staffed, but her attitude and responses were ridiculous. I went into the store instead where the girl in the front had no problem remaking my order correctly and was very sweet and professional. It's unfortunate that the ignorance and laziness of the chipotlane employee is what sticks in my head about this last visit. There are two other locations near by in south elgin and st charles. I recommend skipping this one.
I always love chipotle. I ordered today because I especially had a taste for guacamole. I decided to try the Pollo asada quesadilla. I ordered a side of guacamole and brown rice on the side. I got home with my order and no guacamole. So I called the store and they said I could come back through the drive thru. I told them I am home and am not going back out and please just credit my credit card for the guacamole. They can't do that so I had to call a different number. I called them and the sound for the call kept going in and out breaking up. Then she wanted to just put it on my rewards, not credit my card. So she finally agreed to credit my card. On top of that, the rice tasted like someone dumped a whole shaker of salt on it. Unedible. The whole experience today was highly disappointing.
I especially love this location because they have the Chipotlane so I can place my order on the app and drive up and grab it without having to get out of the car and go inside. Really good for busy days or days when I don't want to pull the kids out of the car just to run in real quick.My food is always fresh and delicious! The burrito bowls are my favorite, that's what I always get. Sometimes I switch up the meats and toppings so I don't get bored but I eat here pretty regularly. It's my go-to "healthy-ish' fast food, especially when I'm watching carbs. It's pretty easy to customize the bowls to fit your nutritional requirements.
i always go to this location because they are usually good: today was a different story. i was being helped by this rude girl (she had tattoos all over her arms, green eyes i believe, dark hair) who didn’t even bother to say hello or what would you like. didn’t take it to heart since everyone has bad days. after filling up my bowl i bought it and headed to my car, ate it right away. an hour goes by and i get home… food poisoning. i have been hovered over in the bathroom for the past 3 hours. i have thrown up. i got a chicken bowl with white rice, no beans, veggies, cheese, mild, and guac. i am beyond sick… i don’t know what to do. i didn’t even get my receipt. i’m reporting this location to the health department but i’m sure nothing will be done. i have a huge speech to give tomorrow at work and i seriously don’t know what i’m going to do. this location needs friendly workers who won’t give you dirty looks if you say “hey how are you?”, they need to clean the line better especially since it was SLOW… no one else was in, and they need to properly swap out the ingredients so people like me don’t get sick. i want some compensation this is absolutely horrid.
Nice people and decent food and a good selection but not a comfortable atmosphere for me.
So happy we have a local STC chipotle closer to jewel osco! Friendly staff, very fast and accurate. Nice clean facility, bran new I'm glad they are here!
