This bar is big and fun. Plenty of room for larger groups. We always stop here on our bar crawls.
A friend heard about this place, so we made the hour drive to go check it out. The atmosphere was wonderful. I had the chicken pesto sandwich which was delicious. We enjoyed a few drinks on the patio and love the outside bar. We will definitely be back.
Alley 64 is one of the better bars on the St. Chas strip.The food is good, the service is okay, The seating area is large , wild and wide and , they have slid machines tooAll in all, a good bar. I'd recommend it to anyone hanging out in St. Charles.
Open late and great selection of drinks! The nachos here are mind blowingly good! If you haven't try them then it is a must! Get the steak though. The service is here and the drinks are not very expensive at all. Try them out if you're looking for a place to watch the game or just sit back with friends and chill.
Went during the week for a late lunch with a friend so it was empty. Food was good, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere seemed nice! Can't say much about it in regards to peak hours. I'm sure it gets cramped.
I went out with my friends last night (Monday night) to start off spring break right & to celebrate my accomplishments of getting straight As for the quarter & making dean's list. We went in and the vibe felt good. I've heard of Alley 64 before so my friends and I were looking forward to a great night out. Eventually one of my friends spilled their drink and he offered to clean it up since he was the one to spill it. Then, a man sitting not too far from us told us to "hype it down" and started saying other things. I tried to deescalate the situation, apologize, and explain to the man what had happened and that we were just laughing at my friend for spilling the drink. The man started mumbling other things so we decided to just head out before anything else happened. Our bartender was this 27 year old woman named Katie. We told her the situation and she said "Watch what you say. Those are my people/friends and you need to leave so I'm going to close your tab." I was surprised that the bartender threatened us and basically kicked us out (we were headed out anyways) instead of being polite and providing proper customer service. We didn't do anything wrong to provoke such a reaction and it killed our mood/end of the night. I've been out and about to bars all over the city of Chicago and I have never experienced poor customer service like this. I believe Katie was rude and she should not be working at Alley 64 or in customer service for that matter and I am surprised that there are other poor reviews about her dating back to 4 years ago and she is STILL working there. It's almost as if the business owner doesn't take customer reviews seriously. I will not be coming back to this business and I will not recommend it to anyone else in the future.
Hey, I always have a good time at alley however we went on a Monday night, the bartender Katy was serving us. Things were ok, until we spilled a drink at the bar, she got upset... I understand I spilled a drink but I even offered to clean it up. She gave us a horrible attitude, then some person at the bar yelled at us, we told Katy that the spill was an accident and that you should tell them to clam down, then she told us that those people were "her friends" and that we should "watch what we say" I was shook. I couldn't believe that a bartender who was serving us literally threatened us. She then closed our tab, then the "manager" came out and kicked us out. I'm going to be honest, we are 22, I know we're young but we're not incompetent. The owner of this establishment really needs to train their bartenders and "managers" to be more professional, personal relationships should not interfere with customer service. Please do something before your bar is torn down. Just a heads up from another business owner.
One of the best bars to grab drinks at in St. Charles. Place is always packed on weekends! Grab a drink at the back bar & people watch.

This is my first time here. We just moved from Las Vegas nevada . The bartender was nice the food was amazing. We tried different types and all the food was awesome. This is our new favorite spot
