It's a good downtown sports bar. I don't drink myself, but go there to watch friends who are in bands play. Restaurants are in walking distance if you decide to partake in multiple activities while visiting downtown Springfield.

Great place. When I go, it's not usually crowded, but the patrons and bartender are always such beautiful spirits (and the drinks are great too!).
Awesome rock music ... Small and cozy spot. Sound could have been better for upcoming bands but then again overall band quality had been top notch
Staff is great! The owners are fabulous! Atmosphere is nice and clean, great location on the corner and the special drinks are awesome.

I visited Whiskey Jack's for the first time yesterday. And I must say I was pretty impressed. Great dink specials. Happy hour from 3:30 to 5:00 with 1.00 domestic bottles. A great sports feel inside the bar. They also pay homage to local sports teams. 4 shots of fireball for 10.00 which is a great deal. I will be definitely going there again. They just recently opened and I think they will thrive once people visit it. It felt like my hometown bar which is a plus. Great weekly drink specials too.
$2.00 Shiner Bock on college game day? Sign me up. Several TVs and they were willing to accommodate my request for a specific game. Popcorn snacks, but they will arrange to have food sent over from the Italian place next door if you desire. Very friendly staff and a crowd of boisterous locals. Would visit again
