True authentic Mexican Meats and veggies all fresh and well made. Lunch buffet 12.99 all you can eat, tacos, burrito’s enchiladas chimichanga’s beans. Rice. Shredded chicken. Beef. It was all AMAZING. Will definitely be back to this little gem.

Without a doubt the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Had the Chile Verde. The best I've had anywhere. Pork was flavorful and moist. Green sauce had lots of flavor. I will be back, and bringing more with me.
I have taken my family of 6 with kids 5-12 here multiple times to eat in and ordered for pick up a few times. The staff/family behind it all are amazing, courteous, and really go all out. Small family joint that leaves a lasting impression.
The thing I love most about Taqueria el Paisa is how careful they are in dealing with my wife's food allergy. Yesterday, I picked up a carry-out order for my family (Birria Tacos, Nachos Supremos, andBurro Mexicano) and asked for no cheese sauce on the Burro Mexicano, explaining that it was for a person with a dairy allergy. When I picked up my order, they asked if I wanted rice on the side; they hadn't included the rice with the Burro Mexicano because it's cooked with some butter. That kind of attention to detail really means a lot when buying prepared food involves gambling with a food allergy!I've never had a bad taco from TeP, but my favorites are the birria tacos, followed by the chorizo, al pastor, and chicken varieties.
Bad experience, I arrived 12:00pm and they didn't have soup of any kind so I ordered 4 tacos ( chicken ) after 50min waiting I decided to ask the running waitress who never placed my order. We have so many places in Springfield who have a wonderful service and I ended here just because someone told me about the sopa de res. Minus one star is my rate for you.
