good food price just right. the people are very nice and kind as well

I cannot express how much I appreciate this place, but I’ll try.First of all, the staff very friendly. Very enthusiastic. And they take great pride in their work. Which brings me to my next point. The food. I didn’t order anything super complex. Just a sandwich. It came with fries, which is standard but they other options which was refreshing. Then they asked what other side item I’d like. My first thought was they were trying to get me to order more food. But no. It was part of deal. I ordered some soup with it too, and my whole order was ready within minutes. And fresh too, not something dried out from under hear lamps. The decor is very old school. A diner type of place but with a little more sophistication. And the staff kept it superbly clean. Very positive atmosphere and not what you’d expect from a typical truck stop.My day personally was rough. I won’t go into the details as to exactly why, but this place had absolutely nothing to do with it. In fact, after a long and trying day, this experience was one I desperately needed.I will definitely come back if traveling this way again. A welcoming and enthusiastic staff that’s takes pride in their work and giving quality food no matter how simple or complicated the order? That’s almost a lost art these days, and this place keeps it very much alive.

They were really busy when we arrived but everyone was working in sync and no one had to wait very long! Super nice staff and wonderful service!

In one word; fantastic. Excellent food, superb service, with a clean and vibrant atmosphere.

FIRE ? Can't say enough about the food & service. Found this on Yelp while heading home to St. Louis from Chicago. Pulled off the hwy & questioned it next to a gas station. Sooooo glad we took a chance. Parking lot had lots of cars which encouraged me. This is a hidden gem ?. Totally worth the stop. Big portions, fresh cooked & fast. We all sampled each others food & loved everything. Only 10 minutes from Lincoln Museum.

We have ate here many times & always had good food. Today was different story. Ordered the French onion soup & it was awful. The onions were not caramelized. Texture was off because of that. It had 5-6 about 2x2 chunks of bread (not croutons) in it & no cheese at all. I have never had it here before but this was the worst I have ever been served.

Y'all get the chicken fried chicken....its more food than 3 people can eat...it's easily splittable between two people and so good. Also, the pavan pie is one of the best I e ever had and I'm from the south and not easily impressed!♥️- The Cosmic OWL?

Just do not get the salad. Unless you order extra for it bc it only comes with lettuce, one cucumber, and one small round tomato. Besides that the food was delicious to me. If you're a trucker like me you want good food and in my opinion this is a good one and they do have sweat tea for all you sweat tea lovers.

Ordered ribeye, green beans, mashed potatoes, vegetable soup and lemon cheesecake. Ribeye was chewy(the 2 onion rings on it was good tho) green beans and mashed potatoes were bland. Veggie soup was decent. The lemon cheesecake was okay.

Place is great, busy but all staff was working hard and getting orders out in a timely manner. Definitely will be stopping in again and open 24 hours is a plus for us truckers. 2/10/22 Stopped in and had dinner again tonight . Top notch. Sat at the bar watching how things ran, you want to see how a restaurant should run stop in here, everyone helps each other place runs smooth and it shows . my steak was cooked exactly the way I like it and the cheesecake, dont even get me started on that it's that good place needs 8 stars
