Servers are extremely friendly and polite. The way it’s decorated is all about racing. The menu is very easy to read and has a great selection
good food fast friendly service and great cocktails
Great food and some of the friendliest staff I have ever met! My entire family had a wonderful experience.
On our Rt. 66 journey, we stopped by for a quick snack mid day. The decor is a nod to all things racing, with a smattering of Rt. 66 memorabilia. Ashley was our server, she was pleasant, efficient and a joy to interact with. We split a “Daytona Bonneville Brat” with homemade chili and cheese. It did not live up to my expectations - the brat was good, but the bun was either stale, or over grilled. But really, $1.99 for
This was a great piece of history along Route 66. It was originally a Stuckeys, and the original Stuckeys sign is on the wall inside. There is quite a bit to see inside, and outside the establishment. The outside Route 66 sign is the largest sign along the Mother road. We really enjoyed our visit. The food in the restaurant was good, I recommend the Bourbon chicken. The homemade chips, not so good. It is in Springfield, Illinois not far from the home of Abraham Lincoln which is also a great piece of history.
Went here twice and found the food to be pretty good. Burgers and chicken sandwiches, salads and heavier things like ribeye steak at dinner. The decor if you are route 66 fan or car and racing buff in general is interesting too. BUT... it's loud and way to crowded. More distance between tables would be nice. If I lived in the area I would visit rarely.
We ordered apps, dinner and drinks..... we weren't impressed with any of it. The waitress was rude. The food and drinks are WAY overpriced for the quality and quantity. Save the trip and your money.
We stopped here to see the museum & have dinner. The website & pictures made the place look great - ha far cry from it. The museum was basically a room that looked like a storage room with packing paper and empty boxes all over. The food was horrible. A total waste of time.
We called in for dinner. The place is electric! Terrific atmosphere surrounded by motor memorabilia. A great place for any petrolhead. The beers are excellent and the food was superb. You must try the Horseshoe or the Pony. These are traditional local dishes. Our server Larry is a fantastic ambassador for the brand. His enthusiasm for the ethos of the place was tremendous. He showed us around the amazing museum and gave us a great insight into the owner. Larry is a hardworking military guy with two daughters. He divides his time between two jobs and two daughters. Really attentive and knowledgeable. He deserves a pay rise!! If we are ever driving Route 66 again we will be sure to call in. Don’t miss this excellent restaurant!
Amazingly unique restaurant, museum, live music venue, and car show event space. Huge inside and outside dining area. Great place to watch the game grab some drinks or stop in for lunch or dinner!
