We have only been to the Sangamon store.The sandwiches were absolutely delicious!!My wife and I have a BLT on sweet bread!! This is our favorite place! The gentleman that made the sandwiches has a odd sense of humor but very accurate and totally pleased with our choice every time! This guy is always working by himself and rocks it every time! But if your feelings are easily hurt you might want to go to a substandard sandwich shop! But you will be missing out on a great sandwich!
Low staffing does NOT stop these guys from making a great sandwich! Friendly vibes and good music to enjoy while eating your gourmet sub.
Excellent subs and the sweet Italian bread is very delicious. Great service and food! Highly recommend!
I want the annoying guy with the chef hat back! Couldn't stand him but at least he got my food right. Every time I've gone in there since the younger guy started my sandwich is ALWAYS wrong! This time I literally wrote what I wanted and made sure to write NO OIL and underlined it and he STILL messed it up. Sad it's my favorite sub shop and now it's lost me as a customer. Won't be back.
Don't know who is working the Sunday day shift today, 1/23. But he was handling the whole store, friendly, and fast. Dude is rocking it.. Best customer facing fast food experience I've had in years.
I just stopped in and picked up Sandwiches for the whole office and they were AMAZING!!! Plus their Customer Service was Outstanding!!! I Have been a Monty's Fan for 20yrs and every time I east there, it is the BEST!!****Ty,Wonderful, Delicious and Magnificent Monty's !! You Make the Day Brighter:)

I lived in Springfield for 3 years, and Monty’s is the place I miss most. They have the best sandwiches in town by far. The sweet bread is always amazing and fresh. Any time I am passing through the area, I make it a point to detour for a sandwich. The owner really takes pride in providing great service for every customer every time, and it shows.
Food is great as usual but don't bother ordering online. Everyone gets served before your order, worked 13hr then waited 20 mins after it was supposed to be ready.
Delicious subs every time. Sangamon store sandwich artist was awesome. ⁵/⁵
