We were there about 8:30am for breakfast on a Sunday. We all ordered pancakes and eggs. Eggs were cooked as requested- scrambled and sunny side up - and the buttermilk pancakes had just the right amount of fluffiness - very tasty! Service was prompt and friendly.
Proportions are great and food is well prepared. Hash browns are crispy. Our waitress was super laid back and down to Earth. Last time I went though, the hostess just disappeared for a while and a line backed up out the door
the waitress was really nice I've been going to the one by White oaks to meet with my sponsor lately. the one on dirksen is not that great but this one out by the mall is pretty good. however their food never seems to be hot.
This IHOP has definitely gone downhill. I found mold in my pancakes and the “manager” was extremely rude. She even cussed at me. The wait was horrible for just a chocolate milk. If you want to go to a good IHOP go to Bob Evans because this and the one on Dirksen is a joke.
After reading about a customer on 217 foodies by paying her bill with an app, and the manager lady, and employee coming out taking pictures of her license plates, and the manager cursing at her wanting the bill paid. I think either you should get rid of the app, or get rid of the manager, and employee. No I don't think I'll be in to patronize with any Ihop franchise in the near future.
Food was fine, but the place was desperately understaffed. Saw only 2 waitresses, but thankfully not large crowds. Also, couldn't have had more than one chef - i arrived about 12:15 by myself, ordered around 12:45 - the poor young ladies were running back and forth, trying to take orders, clean tables and on of they had to run to front to both take payments and try to have time to get seating for those waiting. The place was never more than 1/3 filled, but for 2 waitresses, with one trying to get new customers seated. and run the tickets and cash, and pick up & deliver the food, was WAY too much. From my entry to exit, I was there for close to 2 3/4 hours, and it was not the fault of the 2 waitresses or, if true, the one chef.
Not the best customer service
Wonderful waiter, only waiter on duty yet kept our cups full and let us know how long our food would take. Food was delicious, reasonably priced, and hot when placed on the table. Restaurant was clean and welcoming.
Waited about 15 min behind 3 other couples even though they were at about 25% capacity. After being seated waited approximately 7 min for wait staff, but didn't get waited on until I went to hostess station and asked for a manager. Did not get to speak with one until asking again, then finding out they had 1 waitress, until 3 arrived at same time
