Havent had a stromboli is over 2 decades and tried Gallinas for the 1st time and Omg it was delish!!! Had a calzone too and also delish. we will definitely be back to try more.
It’s really a hit or miss(some days it’s good other days it’s not ) . I went there on my lunch today and the food was horrible *cheese sauce ?!? On pizza ??. I was with my mother and sister we all had the lunch special * 2 pieces of pizza and a drink each. (27.90$)The young man who works there is rude and does not know how to talk to people respectfully OR COUNT money *He definitely should not be interacting with customers . Waste of moneyHighly recommend trying La Piazza around the corner.
I ordered a 12inch joe deep dishI called in my order and got there to pick it up. I was told once I got there that my order was wrong and that a large was made, than asked after to pay for the large which was a additional 10.00. I had to wait an additional 15mins got the pizza home and it was doughy. I’m just very disappointed being it was my first time ordering.
We were heading to an Italian restaurant which was closed, and walked around until we noticed this pizza restaurant. It was a blustery evening, as was the day of sightseeing. I wasn't looking forward to pizza and my first impression of the establishment upon entering was not the most positive. The menu offered dinners, so I order spinach raviolo and shared a bottle of Chianti with friends. Bread (warm) arrived on the table before the meal and oh, it had the most delicious aroma and the taste was fantastic. The tomato sauce was absolutely wonderful. If I could have the recipe, I would always use it. The bread helped me wipe my plate clean!
What happened to this place! Literally the worse pizza I have ever had, and that includes frozen pizzas! We went here about 5 years ago and it was pretty good. We were in the Springfield area, so came in again. First, the guy taking our order (Joe I think) was very rude. I asked questions and he wouldn't even answer me with words. Just pointed at the menu on the wall. Like I wasn't already reading that! We got that anti pizza salad (or whatever it's called). It looked amazing but the salami was literally rotten! We had a part of 14. Everyone tried it and almost threw up. We told them about it and they just said, "oh sorry" and took the salad. $10 salad (it feeds a family) and they didn't offer to make a new one, take it off the bill, nothing! Just walked away. Then the pizza...I don't know how they did it. It literally had zero flavor. It was like eating undercooked bread. We put salt, oregano, Parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper on it, and nothing helped. Even the kids did eat it. I ate 2 pieces and couldn't do it any longer. I just gave up. Almost $200 for all 14 people and we all went to McDonald's afterwards. It as ridiculous. I will never go here again. I just don't k ow how anyone can mess up pizza so horribly.
Our food was DELICIOUS! Came in from out of town to visit family and decided to try this place out- will absolutely be back, probably every time we come visit! ? food was super quick, staff was more than friendly! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
I am a travel nurse working in Springfield and a pizza lover and my goal is t try all the local pizza places. This place was recommended to me and i was not impressed. I got the special. It was ready in a timely manner and the service was good. The pizza had a lot to be desired. the toppings were cut into huge pieces and made it difficult to eat. The crust was just OK. Overall I would not recommend this place as there are so many better pizza places in Springfield.
Delicious pizza! The reviewers who don't like this pizza must be big fans of cheap chain pizza and frozen pizza. I can't imagine anyone disliking this. It tasted SO GOOD! We also ordered pasta, which was delicious. And it came with a generous portion of delicious bread. We were visiting for the weekend. Delivery to our hotel was quick and friendly.
