Skylar and Amanda are amazing!! Always so bubbly and smiling! The food is always amazing. Service just everyone is always good! But those two ladies and their beautiful smiles and personality will always put a smile on your face!!! Definitely recommend them!!! We spend every date night there
We were passing through with our family and met the nicest staff! Excellent food, all was fresh and we were told locally sourced. Everyone was so kind and everything delicious including the drinks! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Hubby and I LOVE going to Engrained! The staff is phenomenal, the food is off the charts and the atmosphere is so relaxed and casual. Highly recommend to everyone, with or without the little ones. All are welcomed here! Always plan to take home at least a little bar beverage (canned or bottled) and a to-go plate, always more than enough food! Currently, they are handing out Engrained discount "baseball" type cards for a huge discount on your next month's visit. Very creative marketing!
We had a group of 20 and was given our own room with plenty of space. I had an Irish Red Beer and it was awesome. Everyone else enjoyed there micro-brews as well. We ordered a LOT of appetizers and those portions we huge. We ate too many but I did take some home. One comment about the wings. I’m pretty sure they we legs, short legs but still legs. They we huge and the sauces we great as well. I had the Comfort Bowl and it hit this spot. Pulled Pork, home fries, cheese sauce, corn. Oh Boy was it good. I ordered a side Cole slaw as a pallet cleanser. Good choice. We order a couple cheesecakes to share, good but cheesecake isn’t my thing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Staff was on point and we had multiple servers buzzing around us.
We went as a family for lunch and it was a great place for kids. I’ve never been to Springfield so I didn’t know what a horseshoe was so had to try that and I did it with the buffalo breaded chicken with the smaller size version and it was great! The other things we loved was the cheese curds, kids Mac and cheese (huge portion), and the seltzers! We’d certainly come back. Great food and service :)
Beer was good, nothing outstanding but everything was enjoyable. Service was excellent and the place looks nice. The quality of the food was good, they clearly try and use good products but the execution is not great. The beer batter they use on a lot of the menu has a great texture but is almost tasteless making most of the appetizers not worth it. The pork special was a nice pork chop but it was way overcooked and the bacon on it was burned. The fish and chips again suffered tremendously from a lack of seasoning. The under par presentation for the food really makes it hard to justify the prices they charge. While some of the other menu options, such as the burgers, looked well done I'm not sure I would give this place another chance.
Not a good experience. My husband ordered the pulled pork barbecue sandwich. When our food did arrive the bun was very soggy. It was like it was dipped in water. And there was no barbecue sauce on the pork there was like a tablespoon that was put on top of the meat. My family met there so we could have a nice visit and in the middle of our dinner some guy comes up and starts playing some kind of scrabble game. Totally rude. We wanted to visit with our family we didn’t want to play scrabble with some stranger.
Visited Springfield with my son and we decided to eat here. We both had burgers and the food was good. The fires were different and I really didn't care for them. The service was excellent though.
Overall excellent experience. Online carry out ordering is easy and detailed, if you are interested in making requests or changes. The host staff was super upbeat and friendly and the food was all delicious!
