We had a family reunion on a Saturday and wanted to have breakfast at Cracker Barrel on Sunday morning before everyone went back home. I called the manager a couple of weeks earlier to let him know we were coming. He had extra staff waiting to help us. They were awesome. Very friendly and great service! Especially Nicole. Thanks for a great experience!
I always enjoy the Cracker Barrel, especially for the Chicken and Dumplings! I also like to shop for the unique items they always have for sale, and the selection of the old time candies, soda pop! The staff are always friendly and courteous and helpful, and I've always had a wonderful experience. They absolutely deserve 5 stars!!
Really nice place! Efficient operation with staff using electronic tablets to place orders, tasty meals and fast service! If your bus/RV is pushing 50', consider parking length-wise in distant parking spots.
Exit 90 off I55 Super nice waitress, lovely accent and funny. Food was good and coffee plentiful. We had a wonderful breakfast and a relaxing break on our trip home. We will stop there again on our way back up!
It started off Rocky, as we sat waiting for service, but quickly turned around thanks to the manager Liz, 4star server Elena and Rose.who once aware of our lack of service became very attentive checking at the table often and making sure our food was hot and fresh. Thank you for turning a bad customer service situation into an excellent one.
For Mother’s Day this year , I took advantage of having 2 of crackle barrels southern fried chicken meals to go for the special occasion . I had scheduled it to be ready at 130pm, it being late by 25 minutes made the “we eat at 2:00pm” Late . Arriving home I realize I did not in fact get all of my sides . We were missing 13 out of 20 biscuits !!! Now, mind you the order was 25 minutes late for pick up…in this extra time I figured that they were ensuring all items were present .For some the biscuit makes the meal complete and most went without due to their lack of double-checking to make sure all was accounted for.I was serving 15 people that day . When I called and talked to the Mgr that was on shift at the time his answer was me , driving back out 20 minutes to the store location due to their mistake , on Mother’s Day at the time of gathering to eat with my loved ones !Not once was I offered any other incentives to make the special day right . I as a mother really felt a type of way about that. I spent $100 and feel like I would’ve been better off and satisfied going to KFC or Popeyes . Will not patronize this location again.
We had the best server named John. We had a big group and he took such great care of us. It was amazing. Thank you John. To me service is everything. It can make it enjoyable or not
Very good did, fantastic staff.
Never did curbside and never will again. Night off and just wanted a good hot meal. The waitress brought my food to the car and told me they were out of baked potato so she replaced it with a yam because it was an up charge and wanted me to get my money worth. Nice thought and she was very sweet. I would have rather been asked because my son doesn't like yams and Mac and cheese would have been great. Keep the up charge and he can have something he would eat. Oh well no big deal. I get home to see my son was missing his entire meal. I called and was told they were also out of the fried chicken and someone should have told me. So he ordered a burger that I had to drive back for. The manager was also very nice and gave him a little cup of cobbler for the inconvenience. So now an hour later I get to eat my meal. Trout that was so cold, dry and nasty I tossed it in the trash. I have had the trout a few times and I'm sure it would have been delicious if I didn't have to make a second trip. In the end my side salad was my dinner and it was good. The people were very nice but dinner was not. I'm not a fast food person but would have been better off doing so. Paid to much for that kind of outcome. I'm not even going to look to see the price difference because it will only make me mad but I'm sure the chicken dinner I paid for was more then the cheese burger he ended up with. Next time McDonald's will be just fine.
Went to the Springfield Cracker Barrel with my wife for dinner tonight. So we were so excited on the way there. To our surprise the food was very unpleasant. We ordered this appetizer called squash casserole and boy did it look so good on the menu. We payed(well almost payed $3.20) for a bite size piece of squash with a whole bunch of bread crumbs in this tiny bowl. Thankfully our waitress took the squash of the bill due to my complaint. The rest of our dishes had the poorest presentation I've ever seen. Then there was the new server who dropped this customers soda only to have it hit the ground and splash the whole side of me. And where is the waitress when your all 9ut of drinks? Do they not offer free glasses of water with a meal anymore? This Cracker Barrel has really taken a turn for the worst. I will not rush to go eat there anymore. Pretty sad what this place has turned into. $50.00 was my total tonight and I'm disgusted. How hard we people work for our money to get this type of service in return, very sad Cracker Barrel!
