A return visit, and as always, delicious.Went earlier than the dinner hour, so had no wait to be seated. But by the time we left, it was busy. I'd suggest reservations if going after 5 or 6 pm.Anything I've ever had here is excellent and we'll worth the price. The server was attentive and knowledgeable.Dessert looked attractive, but I was too full to consider it.I'll return here at every opportunity, and highly recommend.

Who knew you could get such great seafood so far inland? Very good menu with many many options and the friendliest staff I have encountered in many years. These folks understand happy service. Salads were excellent, starters were too. And the fish entrees.... excellent! They also offer beef, which I was told was good, but what's the point? Try the fish!

Great evening dining experience for the whole family. Very nice building, with a very nice decor inside, with some cool sea and shipping items. The food is warm and very tasty, with options like chicken and other fare other than just their very good seafood. The staff is very polite, courteous and attentive. Conveniently located, with plenty of parking. Nice dining experience!

We arrived with the early dinner crowd, with no reservations, and were seated immediately. Service was fantastic! Even with several other tables in our section, we felt like we got plenty of attention; like we were the only table in the room. Food was excellent, all items cooked to perfection. I sometimes worry about seafood restaurants when they're this far from the coast, but these people know what they're doing.

Our service by Anthony was top notch! Best meal we had all vacation. From the bread w the honey butter, to the escargot, ribeyes, lobster and stuffed shrimp. O and the clam chowder! Beat out the 5* steak house in st Louis hands down and saved us 100$ w way more food. If u see it, stop! Ask for Anthony

Nice restaurant. Food was good. Reasonable priced. Cute decor. Good waitress. We had reservations but not it would have been required on a Wednesday evening.

ARRIVE early for the afternoon specials- crowds can fill the House quickly! free parking; good service but meals are 'cooked to order.' We came for a Birthday gathering of a friend; large tables; friendly staff and GOOD Food.

Great food. Homemade salad dressing is the best. Beautiful restaurant. Wish I could have had a tour. Very busy, but didn't have to wait, actually got a table earlier than our reservation. Friendly and efficient staff. We will be back.

Joined Friends and Family for Valentine's dinner. They had reservations but we still anticipated they'd be very busy and there would be a bit of a wait to be seated. We were half right - busy? Oh yes! But we were taken to our table right away. Our server was amazing. Even kept hopping by the numerous tables she was responsible for, she always had a smile and stayed on top of drink refills and other requests. The food was delicious, as always. I had the 7oz sirloin with scampi-style shrimp special, and tried the Kiss Martini. All was perfect!

Chesapeake never disappoints! The food is always delicious. I do wish they offered different featured fish selections such and grouper or tuna steak. Service is outstanding. Our server Tanya was great. She recommended the blackend bourbon salmon which was delicious. She was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed her conversation. She even took a great group picture of us. They even offer the best birthday dessert. We come every chance we get.
