Ordered meals for pick up to be at 4:45.Arrived at 4:55. Had to wait 25 min. To finally receive the order. No apology.Was late delivering the meal.Will try one more time, but if I have to wait again, it will be my last.
Took 15 minutes for someone to take our order as a guy with a manager’s badge and wait staff stood behind a stand that said,” Gifts from the farm”. One waitress simply stood in front of the food window not waiting on guests. PFinally the oldest there, a gentleman spotted both us and another table being ignored. Soon we heard raised voices in the kitchen arguing. Now have been here 35 minutes and just getting our complex soup and salad, but no bread. Really!
We love this place. But, today we came and discovered they took their cinnamon Supreme hot cakes off the menu! So very disappointed...that is a reg order for us every time we come.Please bring them back!
Awful just awful. Sat down and waited a good 25 mins just for someone to get our drinks. Then we ordered and food did not arrive quickly. When it did mostly cold and over done. Took a while to get the desert. The fact that we had to get up and find our desert just sitting on the counter unattended. Like why. We had to ask a lady for napkins 3 times and she still forgot. Like no one else was their how do you forget. Never ever going their again.
Wow. What a difference! This Bob Evans is amazing! Our server, Liz was so friendly and efficient. And she wasn’t the only one. Everyone worked together, helping each other, making sure that their customers were taken care of. Food was delicious.
We stopped here while traveling. Out breakfast was good and fast. Our service was PERFECT. Our servers name was Shelly(Michelle?). Great way to start our vacation.
Considering the condition of Springfield Illinois as a whole and labor market in general, this Bob Evans could have been way worse. Solid service from Amber, but the restaurant seemed to be leaking leadership.The workers are doing what they can with what they've got. Food portions seemed like they'd been reduced to keep costs down.
Rodger was a great server. Kept us informed and was very attentive. We liked our breakfast. Good food and great service. Who can ask for more?

I had a very bad experience by the waiter and will not be going back. I spent $30 and ended up giving my whole order to a homeless woman. The waiter asked everyone but me if I wanted a roll, biscuit, or banana bread. I also waited like 15 mins before he came back to see if I was ready to order while the people that came after me he kept going back to see if they were ready and they got their order before I had a chance to order. On top of everything, my order wasn't correct. I will say the only difference between me and everyone else was my skin color.
