Worst red sauce ever! Was given one napkin a piece because it came with our silverware. Waiter never came back to check on us. Wasn’t worth the $40!
The whole experience was terrible!! Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had!!! the service was AWFUL they can’t answer questions they just stare at you and laugh and I’ll add in the restaurant is dirty!!
Passing through Springfield, IL...hungry for Mexican food. Checked the website for vegetarian menu..."It appears you are lost." Okay I think, I'll just call to see if they have vegetarian options and what time they close. No one answers and their mailbox is "full." Moving on and won't be back.
I ordered lunch from here on 4/27/22. When the food arrived my chicken was RAW. I called the restaurant asking for my food to be replaced. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to call back after 5pm (3 hrs form now). I was told I could come pick up another meal however this was delivered. I'm at the office or else I would have picked it up to begin with. I told the gentleman this didn't work for me. I told the guy I'd come in after I got off from work. I asked if I could have a free drink, desert or anything to make up for the inconvenience. The guy hung up on me. When i tried calling back he refused to answer. (I called a few times) Won't be spending any more of my money here with rude people.
Amazing food and if you can go there on your birthday for a great time. They give you free fried ice cream. Some friends and I went, we all got jump scared by 3-4 workers singing happy birthday to us in Spanish. 11/10 unforgettable experience would love to go again soon.
Best Mexican Food ever. Magdalena our Server was this tiny petite woman who was so very nice and polite and sweet and social and Godly. She made our night really special thank you Magdalena.
We came to Springfield for a soccer ID Camp for my daughter at UIS, we were trying to decide where to eat and I sure am glad we all agreed to try Blue Margaritas, I order the Steak Tampiqueña, very tender steak, delicious perfect portion of food, my daughters one had pollo con chorizo and the other one had carnitas, both yummy, my husband had camarones a la diabla, he said they're the best he's had in a while. Loved the presentation of their guacamole. Very clean place, very nice and attractive staff. If we ever cone back to the city, Blue Margaritas will be our first place to visit again.
Good place to eat and have a gathering, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
The best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at thus far in Springfield. Good food, great service. Will definitely come back again.
Tonight and the last time we went the food was flavorless and cold!! Much better places in the area. Was really disappointed.
