Our FFA chapter came in to eat this past week during the state convention. We couldn't find any other place to eat because it was so packed around the area. When we got there only 2-3 tables we're filled with others, so there really wasn't anyone there at that moment. The waitress took at least 15-20 minutes to get our drinks to us, which we're just sitting on the bar counter. One of our members ordered 2 waffles. He only got one until someone said something than they told us that the cook was making it now. The first one he got he's said it was soggy and just weird. Other members ordered the roast beef which they said was absolutely cold and nasty. I saw another table of members leave without eating barley any of their food. When I used the bathroom the toilet, floor, and some of the sink we're nasty. The toilet seat was also broken and should be fixed ASAP. It took us at least 30-45 minutes to get our food which was absolutely uncalled for. One of the employees told some customers that the place was dirty and they had to wait, but yet barley anyone was there. What I ate was actually decently good. Besides all the errors, everything was done good. The employees we're nice and kind. It just needs work!

Surprise dining experience for family lunch made day complete. Situated across from Lincoln s law office in downtown Springfield, we found this delightful cafe. With local favorites of biscuits and gravy, BELTS, asiago burgers, and horseshoe ponies, this cafe exceeded our expectations. We loved the surprise ability to substitute tots for fries, bacon on the gravy, and homemade cheese sauce! The Irish coffee didn't hurt either! To he waitress was kind and helpful. Great time!
Great eatery in the heart of downtown Springfield. The food is good, atmosphere relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are always courteous and polite. Prices are decent on the wallet especially for food that will fill you up and breakfast served anytime is a big thumbs up. I highly recommend this establishment if you have not been.

We were out enjoying the Route 66 car show. My friend and I wanted lunch and we saw this quaint cafe so we went in. They were short staffed but still managed to deliver smiles and great food! There was a couple upset about something but they still served them and made the food on the house. Here is where I get upset in this day and age when small businesses are short staffed and struggling why would you give them a bad review? Yes you had every right to be upset but they took care of you. Let’s stop being petty and just be understanding and kind! I would recommend this place 100%! The best BBLT sandwich I have had in a long time!

The best place to enjoy breakfast or lunch when exploring historic Springfield. Right across the street from Lincoln's Law Office and near the Old State Capitol.The service is tremendous.
